This is how New York got Trump on that civil suit with the porn star hooker or whatever she was. Modify the law to benefit those in power at the moment for the moment and then change things back before the other side can have a shot at doing the same thing.

Activist judges are ones that make up law out of thin air, or simply rule by diktat.

Here, a clearly unconstitutional law, meant to change the voting districts for what amounts to a single election, was shot down by the appropriate court based on state and federal election laws and constitutions. There was nothing "activist" about it.

And here you are lying again as we have no examples of that and if it is done that is what appellate courts correct.

Your definition of an 'activist judge' has been any and all that rule against Trump. Your definition of what is "appropriate" is when the ruling agrees with Trump. Nothing more to it than that. You are a joke.

Are you aware this Judge who blocked this, already tried to block this referendum twice in two seperate rulings BOTH OVER RULED by the Apelate court, before the magats brought this to him for a third attempt?

I do not use the term 'activist judge' very often as there are very few of them, but it does seem this judge might be one.

  • First Injunction (January 2026): Judge Hurley first blocked the redistricting process in late January. The Virginia Supreme Court overturned this decision on February 13, allowing the referendum to proceed as scheduled.
  • Second Injunction (February 2026): On February 19, Judge Hurley issued a second injunction based on separate legal grounds unrelated to the first ruling. This order was also lifted by the Supreme Court of Virginia, which maintained that the matter should be decided by the voters at the polls.

A twice over turned Judge who magats seem to run to is potential evidence of a 'activist judge' that we will need to watch thru this next look at ny the appelate court.

It is more evidence, than you have ever shown in all your accusations COMBINED against Judges who rule against Trump and you call them 'activist' citing NOTHING but the ruling as your proof.

Then feel free to give some examples of mid decade redistricting. The only example, other than court orders, are Republicans in Texas and Georgia.

Ann Richards has been dead for 20 years now. The last time she was involved with a redistricting was 35 years ago. There have been four redistrictings since then. Think about that for a minute.

Blaming her for trump's redistricting attempt is insane.
