I disagree. Morality is absolute.
Here is the problem with that view:
A moral is defined as a proper behavior of a person in society. Morality is a collection of such behaviors.
But who determines what is 'proper'? And what society?
A gang has their own code they go by. So does any criminal organization. To them, that code is the proper behavior. It is their morality.
Jesus Christ has given a code to go by, outlined in the Bible. For those that are Christians, that is their code. It is morals they go by. It is their morality.
Buddhists also have a code to go by. For them, that is their code, their morals and their morality.
So who are you to declare an 'absolute'?
I acknowledge your morals and your morality. I tend to agree with most of them.
I also acknowledge the morals and morality of a Democrat. I do not agree with any of them, just as I don't agree with any of the morality found in a gang.
Is a Buddhist immoral? No. Everything he does is according to the teachings of Buddha. That is the code he lives by. That is his morality.
Is a constructive citizen of a primitive tribe immoral? No. Everything he does is according to the needs of his tribe. That is his code. That is his morality.
To reject a morality means ejection from that society, possibly even damage to yourself. This was as true for people leaving the Catholic church as it is for leaving the tribe, or leaving a gang, or leaving Democrats.
Libs in general have no mortality, regardless of what they think.
But they do. To wit:
Democrats have no qualms about lying, particularly when it advances their agenda. To them, that is proper behavior. It is part of their morality.
Democrats condemn anyone outside their group. You do the same thing here. For the both of you, that is proper behavior. It is part of your and their morality.
Democrats support rioting, looting, organized crime, insurrection, treason, and harboring illegal aliens.
All of it is part of their morality. To them, these are all justified to advance their agenda.
Like me, you don't agree with these morals, but they are there and they do operate among Democrats.
It is certainly not the morals taught by Jesus Christ. Remember, Democrats are essentially their own religion, they deny Jesus Christ and Christianity. They belong to the Church of No God. To them, the closest thing to God is government.
That is their morality. I abhor it. So do you. I don't blame you.
