I didn't say they wanted our system. Hell, most of us don't want it either.

But they do love crossing the border for medical procedures that are more difficult to get in Canada. Plus, they come for the quicker access to medical care.

Here is a link to the facts about the vaccine. No, it did not kill more people than Covid. In fact, they had a hard time finding a single fatality linked solely to the vaccine.

There are certainly issues with our healthcare system and many very valid complaints. And we hear the complaints from people across the political spectrum.

At the same time, other countries systems have issues of their own and you offered an example. There are tradeoffs that come with other systems.

To me, saying our system sucks and we should adopt X country's system may feel good but isn't reality. You don't take a system as large as ours with so many different vested interests and completely transform it (in a short period of time).

I did look it up. I found no evidence that there were more deaths from the vaccine than from Covid.

In fact, there is proof.

We are still giving Covid vaccines to large numbers of people. Covid-19 has diminished exponentially. But vaccine use has stayed high.

If both kill people, why are there far fewer deaths now?

If, by "willfully ignorant" you mean I don't follow cheesy web sites based on conjecture, then yes, I am willfully ignorant.

But since that definition won't fly in the real world, I am not willfully ignorant. I am intelligent enough to require scientific evidence when making my decision on such a topic. I don't have knee-jerk reactions to such garbage. I also prefer the facts as given by doctors over anonymous internet trolls.

They then go to Mexico for prescription drugs, dental, and medical care on the cheap they can't easily, or at all, get in Canada.

Algodones Mexico is a city of dental clinics, opticians, doctors, and pharmacies that cater to Americans and Canadians alike. They are inexpensive and there's no waiting. Canadians that can afford to travel there do travel there because they know their own healthcare system sucks.
