Don't Look Here - Look Over There

I think the problem is that according to your own numbers, only 17% of your polling place are D's.

And if only 30 people were challenged (and we can consider that this means only 12 really were) then how surprising is it that they were all (meaning probably 10 of the 12) were Republicans?

This was a total bs story Damo that you told in order to deflect from the systemic, institutionalized, continuing, and widespread minority vote suppression. A continuing stain on this nation.
Only 17% are registered Democrat in my county, these were registered Democrat Watchers. Actually in my precinct there are a higher percentage of D voters, but it is only about 30%, my area of the county holds most of the Ds in the county...

Anyway, in order to be a poll watcher the party must register them as such. They must bring that registration. I have to read certain things to them and have them take an oath. Most times we have watchers from both parties, they check who has come through then call people who haven't yet voted.

It isn't my story that's been a distraction, it has been your attempt to decry it that has been the distraction.

I guess you should have read Nigel's post before hitting send.

Talk about dumb crack whores huh Dixie?

You should be wearing the stupid whore button today Dixie.

Well, Nigeys post is talking about 100 ft of a "voting station" not typically where you find "minority voter suppression" going on. It just seems to me, someone, somewhere, would have captured this on video, if it were happening. I posted numerous videos of voter intimidation from 2008, but I have yet to see any evidence of what you claimed. I think you made it up.

So, the first line of defense was "I know they were Republicans, because there are hardly any D's where I am," but then you realized that meant no one was being singled out, so now it's "well, there are more D's right here in my precinct...so, it's back to it being a small town & us knowing how every single person votes."

Got it. No - no distraction here.

Boy once a dumb whore always a dumb whore.

Put down your crack pipe Dixie and try and follow: the story, as you well know, is about incidents taking place inside of the polling stations.

Your answer is pure babble.

People are not allowed to videotape people voting. This appears to have been inside the polling area where you aren't even allowed to use your cell phone because of the ability to take pictures/video.

He knows that. It must be really humiliating to have called someone a crack whore in a smug, condescending manner, in a post that you look like a huge moron in. Total backfire.

This thread is a keeper alright.

Sorry, I thought you said you were a crack whore... you actually said Damo was a click whore... my bad! But, you do act like a crack whore! :)

Silly you. Darla is on an obvious witch hunt and she's dragging along Boopsie and Bopsie to wag their tails behind her.

On second thought, perhaps that would be a warlock hunt?

I would surmise, if people are "voting" they aren't being "suppressed" ...reasonable conclusion, no?

Is there a republican on this board who has ever just come out and admitted when they were wrong instead of subjecting everyone to drivel like this?

How am I wrong bitch? If people are being suppressed, as you claim, it shouldn't be that fucking hard to prove! SHOW THE EVIDENCE or shut the fuck up with the outright LIES!

I would surmise that they are not allowed to violate the voter's privacy regardless. What the poll watchers were doing, if indeed this happened, would be unacceptable in any election that I was judging regardless of affiliation. It seems that the judges were not properly trained, again if this actually took place. I wasn't there and have heard only one side of the story. I find it hard to believe that people would accept somebody looking over their shoulder as they were voting.

I admit it...I was wrong once...I said some Democrats are reasonable....
I won't make that mistake again.

Actually, you did admit that you were wrong when you made that really embarrassing error about Jon Stewart's rally. I just laughed again remembering that.

Okay, that makes one!
