Freedom in Liberal Amerika

Ginsberg isn't fit to be on the bench....in absolutely no way was this a case of freedom of speech being in jeopardy....

These 2 people were deemed unwelcome in this meeting and thats that....NO reason needs to be claimed.

These 2 aren't the only ones with rights.....the folks holding the meeting and property owners have rights also....and they don't even need a reason to ask someone to leave the premises....

Its like being fired from a job....we are protected from firing for certain special reasons....age, race, gender, etc.....but if the boss just don't like you, you're out and its legal....

Gannon/Guckert has nothing to do with anything...its not even about the same issue, pinhead.
Strawman bullshit ? ad hominem crap is the best you got ?

Mr. Hammond was deemed unwelcome to work in his bush sweatshirt.

Do you or don't you agree that Hammond had the right to wear his bush sweatshirt to work at an Obama rally?

Hammond wore the name of the ship his son was a seaman on. His kid is in the armed forces. Firing him is the type of sh*t they pull at UCLA or Cal, not at USC. His boss is an idiot and I sure as hell hope doesn't work at USC.

As I said above, I don't agree with the firing. I think both issues fall under free speech guidelines, and that the other people were wrongly kicked out of their event because of the sticker reading "No blood for oil".

Cheer up, the union guy probably didn't work at USC. :-)

A sweatshirt and baseball hat was proper attire for his work.....the fact that his boss didn't like a picture of a Naval Aircraft Carrier on his shirt should be irrelevant.....and that entire issue is irrelevant to the other issue....
He was a hired worker and had every right and obligation to be where he was.....he wasn't a guest, he wasn't an intruder, he belonged there, he worked there....
His boss would have every right to fire him for cause....he had no cause, a picture of a ship on a shirt is not cause. the owner of company he worked for could not even fire him without cause....there a labor laws and union contracts protecting him......

Strawmen and ad hominem crap just ain't gonna cut it, deary....

Haha! I don't know my school is changing a lot. :)

I'm not familiar with the oil for blood story. I just can't imagine Obama (or any President) being upset with a parent being proud of their kid in the military even if the kid is on a ship named for a former President of the opposite party. It also happened to be Bush Sr. who left office 16 years before Obama took office. I'm missing what is offensive about that.

The boss didn't like him wearing the shirt and fired him, legally, according to you.

I fail to see any strawmen, given that I SUPPORT the guy's right to wear the sweatshirt just as I support the car's right to wear the bumper sticker. Which part of this are you having trouble comprehending?

I can't imagine Obama would even see the shirt, let alone get upset over it.

This was all about the union supervisor's bad decision, but bravo had to sneak in a straw man to bolster his anti-Obama rant.

In this case, the boss MUST ABIDE by a union contract and any formen or supervisor is also under restriction.....do you understand the difference in my first example and this...????

Once an employer agrees to and signs a contract with a union, his rights become severely limited....the written contract is now his law, not his personal desires....

Just FYI:
I spent 36 years in a union and know for a fact how utterly criminal they can be if the membership isn't alert.

I don't think this was ever about Obama seeing this shirt, the workers would be long gone before his appearance....and of course he wouldn't get upset about a shirt honoring the US NAVY or one its newest carriers.....this is all about an asshole union thug.
