Absolutely un-bloody-believable!

Gentlemen (and I use the word in its loosest possible sense) and ladies, I have just witnessed one of the stupidest scenes ever to emerge from the fetid fields of middle America. It was a tea party rally somewhere in Ohio. Well, rally is, once again, something of a stretch. A large brown bus slid slowly to a halt as if refusing to be flushed away (sorry ladies, but that is exactly what it loked like) emblazoned with the words ‘tea party iv’. Were there really three former attempts at getting this nonsense on the road.

There was a platform onto which, to orgasmic cheers of delight, jumped a female and a microphone and she said … absolutely NOTHING that made sense while the onlookers bayed like demented Meercats proving that the meaningless ‘sound bite’ is all their tiny intellects need to set them screaming like thirteen year olds at a Take That concert.

People of America – well those here that are proud to represent them in all their glory – you look like friggin fools! I really cannot say it any clearer.
You expect the world to bow down at the great United States, you expect your allies to follow you into conflicts at a whim.

Do you honestly think that behaviour like that I watched in Ohio will gain you any credibility at all? Honestly? Without any exageration at all the people looked as if they were mentally challenged, to use one of your politically correct terms.

Don’t tell me it has nothing to do with me. It has a lot to do with me. Your decisions concerning the economy, war, democracy, etc directly affect the rest of the world, not because they are good but because they WERE good and are now friggin stupid.

For chrissakes America. GROW UP. Is there no one with the ability to THINK?
Oh by the way, what on earth was the band up to? Were they ALL cripples with a walking disorder? Do you really think that sort of thing is a good example to set before the world?

Sorry, but I fail to see what is so unbelievable about a political rally. Does Britain not have those? Perhaps you should try it, maybe scenes like these could be avoided?

I have been on more political rallies than I care to remember but I can say, without fear of contradiction, that the rallies always had a speaker who could speak and tended not to dress like mental defectives.
They looked STUPID. I defy anyone to seriously say that those raving loonatics showed a good side of YOUR country.

Do you think political rallies should be judged by how people dress? And exactly when did Great Britain ordain you with the authority to speak for the collective British people? Did the Queen Mum tap you on the shoulders with the sword or something?

It's fine for you to have an opinion, and even to share it with others, but so far, you've not really said much in the way of substance. A woman got off a brown bus in Ohio, and said things you didn't understand, and people were dressed odd... could it have possibly had anything to do with today being Halloween?

You just don't get it, do you?
I don't care how people dress. I don't care how people behave.
HOWEVER I DO know that if someone behaves like a bloody fool he will loose any credibility he might have once had.
These people in Ohio acted like fools. They were unable to voice their concerns, they were capable only of cliched sound bites.
IF YOU CANNOT SENSIBLY CRITICISE those you dislike then STFU.
We watched in Hong Kong, they watched in Australia, they watched in the UK, in Thailand, in China, South Africa, Canada, Peru, etc etc. The tea party supporters came across as incredibly stupid.
I know you will not agree because you are what is wrong with your country. Thick, stupid with you heads so far up your own arses that you can see daylight.
So, kill your country. Good on yer, pal. I could not care less for when you have gone with your killing of people, animals and the planet those of us left might have a chance of making this world better.

You just don't get it, do you?
I don't care how people dress. I don't care how people behave.

Well you obviously DO care, since that was the crux of your complaint. You really didn't add anything other than those two things, so what else are we to conclude from your rantings? Maybe you're insane and don't realize what you've said? Maybe you're mentally retarded? Maybe you're confused? Maybe you're a pathological liar? Or maybe you really do care about how people behave and dress, as you originally stated? I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt. That's all you included in your original complaint, and you've still not really added anything to that. You think they dressed and acted odd.... that's all!

HOWEVER I DO know that if someone behaves like a bloody fool he will loose any credibility he might have once had.
These people in Ohio acted like fools. They were unable to voice their concerns, they were capable only of cliched sound bites.

Again, I ask you, who bestowed the authority upon you, to judge this? Do you have any examples of "foolish" things they said? In what sort of way was their behavior "foolish" in your opinion? I might disagree with you, others might disagree with you, but that doesn't seem to be of concern to you, as you have simply proclaimed their actions the way you perceived them. And it all seems to revolve around how they were dressed and acted.

IF YOU CANNOT SENSIBLY CRITICISE those you dislike then STFU.

Well then, you should take your own advice, because so far, you've not made a lick of sense in your criticism. You claim the people in Ohio dressed odd and acted foolish, but you failed to give any details, or explain further. That seems to be very non-sensible if you ask me.

We watched in Hong Kong, they watched in Australia, they watched in the UK, in Thailand, in China, South Africa, Canada, Peru, etc etc. The tea party supporters came across as incredibly stupid.

We did? We watched in Hong Kong? I was here in Alabama, I didn't watch. I am happy that other people in the world got to see what freedom of speech looks like, and civil political discourse, it's something the rest of the world needs to see and try to understand. Again, who proclaimed you the authority on what IS and ISN'T stupid? I don't think you speak for the perception of others around the world. I don't think you speak for the perception of those in the UK, or even in Ohio. I think you speak for yourself, and you seem to think that is relevant.

I don't know, I might agree if you gave us some sort of details other than claiming people "acted stupid" and "dressed odd." Those seem to be fairly vague complaints. You did mention the Tea Party, and from what I know about the Tea Party, they aren't out there endorsing the killing of people and animals, or destruction of the planet, they are for smaller limited government and lower taxation.

But just for sake of argument here, and because I am curious about it... If we are all hellbent on killing people, animals, and the planet, how do you figure when we're gone, you will still be around to make the world better? How do you plan to survive our wrath? I would figure you might be one of the first people we'd off, if that were our objective, thus, you wouldn't be around to make things better. And how exactly would you make the world better without any people, animals, or a planet? Strange thoughts you have there, Low! Strange indeed!

This election is about the tea party. Oh I know that it is not OFFICIALLY about the tea party, but it is about the tea party. The news is about the tea party, the TV pictures are about the tea party.
So accustomed to sound bites is the average american that now they actually think in sound bites or would that be 'thought' bites? Did I hear what any one said, you ask. Damn right I did. The BBC has been interviewing tea party supporters 24 hours a day and not one person, not one, has said anything that makes sense. 'We pay too much tax'. 'We dont want big government.' 'Obama is not an American.' 'Obama is giving our money away to the rich.'
Dont deny it, Dixie, you know it is true. Not a single good, well considered argument as to why the best president you have had since Clinton, is being villified.
The woman on the stage in Ohio bounced on with a mike, said four or five words which, to me were almost unintellible, only her tone reflected her misplaced anger.
Why dont you middle america big shots hang the Koch brothers out to dry? It is they who are screwing with you. If the loony right makes as many gains as it thinks we can truly say that this mid term election was a KOCH UP!!
My comments about dress concerned a marching band with more hat than music who had adopted a walking style that in any other country would have drawn the attention of doctors.
Once again, Dixie. These people behaved like fools. If you cant see that then I suggest you might suffer the same affliction.
Only in america could fools rise to a position to threaten a democratically elected president.
Open your eyes, please america. You are being conned rotten.

You got video of the people in Ohio supposedly acting like fools?

I remember the video and sound of Teddy suddenly spouting off in what I would call a vowel-movement, there were no consonants, it didn't just not make sense, it absolutely was incomprehensible with a huge crowd of people cheering for this nonsense...

Was this something like that?

Bravo Dix-you nailed this bastard to the proverbial wall with his own bullshit!

This election is about the tea party. Oh I know that it is not OFFICIALLY about the tea party, but it is about the tea party. The news is about the tea party, the TV pictures are about the tea party.

No, it's actually about Barack Obama and Democrats.

So accustomed to sound bites is the average american that now they actually think in sound bites or would that be 'thought' bites?

Like "Hope and Change?"

Really? Obama is giving our money away to the rich? You've heard Tea Party people saying that? You are right, that doesn't make any sense! Obama is actually taking money from the rich to give to the poor, it's called "wealth redistribution" and that's what has many a bit upset.

Does it make sense to you, that when you are spending more money than you take in, you have to stop spending? Does it make sense to you, that when 70% of the people say they don't want a nationalized health care overhaul, it's not a good idea to force one upon them? Does it make sense to continue to attack and punish small business who create 90% of the jobs in the private sector, when unemployment is nearly 10%?

Dont deny it, Dixie, you know it is true. Not a single good, well considered argument as to why the best president you have had since Clinton, is being villified.

LMAO... your judgment of presidents isn't any better than your judgment of stupidity. The "well considered argument" is, the people are tired of socialist government.

The woman on the stage in Ohio bounced on with a mike, said four or five words which, to me were almost unintellible, only her tone reflected her misplaced anger.

Well, maybe one of these days, you'll get around to telling us what she said, exactly. If you honestly don't know, or didn't understand, how can you claim it was "stupid" or "foolish" ...shouldn't you maybe find out what she said first?

Why dont you middle america big shots hang the Koch brothers out to dry? It is they who are screwing with you. If the loony right makes as many gains as it thinks we can truly say that this mid term election was a KOCH UP!!

Ahh... Here we are with the "Koch Brothers" references again. I think, rather than believing two brothers somehow managed to mass brainwash 100 million Americans, that maybe they are just fed up with socialist policies, 10% unemployment, spending our grandkids into debt, not having disclosure of where the trillions of dollars are going, and Congress basically ignoring the will of the people.

My comments about dress concerned a marching band with more hat than music who had adopted a walking style that in any other country would have drawn the attention of doctors.

Ahh... well, you see, in America, marching bands often dress odd, that's considered quite normal. And that "walking style" is called "marching." You see, they are a "marching band" and that's kind of what they do... it's not for everybody. But I assure you, the Tea Party voters are not upset that everyone isn't dressing and acting like a marching band.

Once again, Dixie. These people behaved like fools. If you cant see that then I suggest you might suffer the same affliction.

Well, maybe I can't see it because you haven't really given any details? You keep saying it, over and over, but I am one of those kind of people who wants to see the evidence for myself, then I can make up my own mind whether it's stupid and foolish. I'm afflicted that way.

Only in america could fools rise to a position to threaten a democratically elected president.
Open your eyes, please america. You are being conned rotten.

Uhm, yes... it's called the democratic process. The same process which elected the president, can also replace him. In this case, he's not running, and we can't replace him yet, but we can replace many of his congressmen. No, we're not BEING conned, we've BEEN conned, but we plan to make it right tomorrow!

We're being conned...?...God man, look around you....you government takes all your money, most of you live off the dole like parasites, and the Muslims are taking over your country right before your eyes....

Obviously, the UK has its share of pinheads too....If Lowaicue, had a higherIQ, he/she would first and formost realize the left, liberal, Democratic Party leanings of the media in the US....
Meaning that any coverage of the "tea party" will not be shown in a fair and unbiased manner.....that the "tea party" will always be portrayed in the worst possible light.....even it that means lying and creative camerawork....

You don't understand the nuances of the issues and think our style of dress is odd ?....well, old man,....pip pip and cheerio,...you blokes are more than a bit odd to me too....say, old boy.....
Now put your roomies wanker back in your pie-hole and shove off.....

Many Japanese leave football games after they see the marching bands. Different strokes I guess.

Dixie/Bravo you can pick apart any argument but the real problem is 30 yrs of conservative free market ideology. These problems have been festering for years, since 1977 in Youngstown OH.

I left there for the low desert in 1982, I couldn't work there-Back Then! These problems didn't just happen when Obama got elected and you know it.

The Koch brothers are real, and their money has been a big part of the ideology behind the decline of the American middle class.

CrashHelmet, the thing is, those empty factories are a result of pinhead policies that were designed to "make" the factories pay the workers more wages! To "punish" the corporations, in order to "give" the people who worked there more! The thing is, it didn't work as planned, the corporations and factories went under, they couldn't survive the increased burden placed on them by Democrat Liberal pinheads who wanted to try and implement socialists policies in a capitalist system. Now, you parade around with videos of empty factories, blaming it on Republicans, who haven't had the political power in America for more than a century, to implement a single piece of legislation without bipartisan support.

All of that is irrelevant to the thread, but I feel you need a history lesson, anyway......

Well, me lad....its like this..

...Democrats (Liberals) controlled our Congress....both houses (thats total government control)...a total of 32 out of 36 years ....from 1945 until 1981
From 1955 until 1981 an unbroken run of power,... 26 years.....

Can you wrap your little brain around that history....????

And you have the balls to to tell me ,"the real problem is 30 yrs of conservative free market ideology" ???

WTF are you talking about?....There was no conservative free market ideology....there was TOTAL DEMOCRATIC CONTROL OF OUR GOVERNMENT....
They made the laws
They made the regulations
They controlled the money
They wrote the countrys budgets
They steered the nations economy
They controlled the tax laws

THEY CONTROLLED EVERYTHING....and when you ask them, they will brag about all they accomplished in those years of rising socialism and union activity in the country....

Soros is real...his money buys political power, he funds the Democrats, he funds the socialism.....

So...get a clue about our history.....

They dressed up as stupid people for Halloween, I bet that wasn't a stretch!

Ahahahahahaha, yeah, blame the workers for wanting a wage to keep them above the poverty level! Good one Dixie!

Why can't you read ?

He didn't blame workers....he said, " it didn't work as planned, the corporations and factories went under, they couldn't survive the increased burden placed on them by Democrat Liberal pinheads who wanted to try and implement socialists policies in a capitalist system".

Is this not true.....?

It certainly wasn't Conservative Republican policy at work.....Democrats (Liberals) controlled our Congress....both houses (thats total government control)...a total of 32 out of 36 years ....from 1945 until 1981
From 1955 until 1981 an unbroken run of power,... 26 years.....

R's and Con's had no real voice for those years.. its fact.....its history
