So many are out of work in this great country, what can be done?
Nothing seems to work so far.
Has any one heard some ideas?
Nothing seems to work so far because liberal democrats are running government. The president is an anti-business Marxist who hates capitalism. Haven't you heard all the horror stories about greedy big corporations, wall street, the rich people who have more than they deserve? The left has waged an all-out war on capitalism for the better part of the last decade, and show no signs of letting up. You can't expect job creation in such an environment.
Now, the next big thing is this... Government doesn't create jobs! It doesn't matter what the politicians say, or what they promise you, the government simply can't create jobs. Oh, they can throw out a few public sector jobs here and there, create a new department of whatever, hire more government workers to make twice what they deserve and be eligible for pension plans and such, but by-and-large, the government simply can't create enough jobs to make a difference. About the only time there has ever been an exception to this, is when government has 'created jobs' as a US soldier in a time of war. Private sector job creation happens in the private sector, not government. In order to stimulate private sector job creation, you have to encourage the people in the private sector who have the wealth to create jobs. Nothing this administration has done, is the least bit encouraging to those people. You have to come up with ways to incentivize creation of new jobs, and again, this administration has not even entertained such an idea, they are hell-bent on doing the diametric opposite, because they are Marxist Socialists.
You see, the Marxist-Socialist idea, is to stifle capitalism and business, drive unemployment even higher, create a worse condition for the average Joe. By doing this, you become desperate for answers, like your thread here sounds... Oh my goodness, what can we do? *wringing hands* Well, what we can do, is let government take over the means of production! Then the government can determine where you need to work and what you need to do, to best serve the commune as a whole. In theory, this is supposed to be preferable to capitalism, free enterprise, and free market economics. The problem is, it has failed miserably every time it has been tried in human history.
Back to your question of what can be done. Like I said, it's really not that complicated. Congress has to enact legislation to ease restrictions and burdens on corporate America, to encourage hiring and growth, and to give entrepreneurs an incentive to create new jobs, through tax breaks or other means at their disposal. Then, the government has to get out of the way, and let capitalism work. That's not that difficult, it's a pretty simple solution. Unfortunately, it goes against everything Marxist Socialists want to accomplish.
