More Christian "kindness" helps to remind us what this season REALLY means:

Well, since you seem to believe it's acceptable for you to assume what you think I know and don't know...how about you go find their job descriptions and I'll let yu know if you get it right...

:palm:

No, no, no, no; see you said they should have done their JOBS, so it's up to you to show that it was their JOB to do something that obviously feel outside of their JOB expectations.

But then; this is just a waste of time, isn't it, because you're basing your entire supposition of feelings, instead of facts.

No. He's basing his entire proposition on professional ethics. A profession is more then just "A Job". It is also a vocation in which one has certain moral and ethical responsibilities to uphold. If you do not understand this then you don't understand what it means to be a professional.

And now you want the firefighters to be "professional" and risk being fired for stepping outside of the scope of their employment.

You're paid to be a hazmat tech, for your company.
During your work day, the company next door and asks you to take a look at something that they've spilled.
Since you're a "professional", you go and take a look.
What they've spilled is corrosive, damages your lungs, you become disabled, and now are no longer able to work; plus you have mounting medical bills.
Is your company and insurance going to pay for your injuries, that you incured while doing something that your company hadn't authorized you to do?
No, they're not.
You were hired to work for YOUR COMPANY, not the guy next door.

I'm sorry, I'd love to continue this conversation, but first you'll need to find someone familiar with the english language to correct the grade school errors found in your "sentence"...then you need to define and explain the differences between the firefighters job "description" and their job "expectation" which is a term you created, which however I have yet to bring up.

That's it little coward...just make up some bullshit and then run away like the coward we knew you were...and all because you have yet to master the english language and your sentence made no sense!

Oh, and nice job ducking out on explaining exactly what the differences between Job "description" and job "expectations" are...I knew you couldn't do it...you never have and you never will.

How can I have "run off", if I made a response and am still responding?
It would seem that the coward is the one who is making a false accusation, in an attempt to save what little dignity he may have left; after he was unable to defend his position, where he FELT that the fire department should have done something differerntly.

As in most places of employment, which you obviously have never been involved in or else you would already know this, your job expectations are defined in your job description.

As I stated earlier it was my recollection that the boss told the firefighters not to put out the fire. Zap said I was wrong on that but I'm pretty sure that was the case. The argument then turned to the firefighters should have put it out anyway.
