Did I mention my job is embarrassingly easy, and I surf the web half the day?....
I'd rather not know where I'll be, than be alone and convinced that I know.
Ya know I've seen a lot of that working on the service side. Odd thing was that when I worked production I'd put in a lot of overtime. 60 hour weeks were par for the course and 80 hour weeks not uncommon but because we were creating and making new things it was exciting and rewarding in more ways then just compensation. Ya know what I mean? The satisfaction of coming up with an idea and going from being bitten by the good idea fairy, doing proof of concept experiments in the lab, upscaling to bench studies then to pilot projects, product application testing, establishing market value, then scaling and planing for production operations where you have to organize your supply chain and your distribution network and vendor agreements, organize the logistics for raw material supply and product shipments, yadda, yadda. Those were exciting times to go from a good idea then taking all the steps to manufacture a product and sell it for a profit. Ten considering the extra challenge that we were starting out with hazardous waste as one our raw materials and it was just a hell of a rewarding challenge to create new and useful products that were competitive and quality products that made a profit.......Good times those!I'm half planner and half liaison to operations and our Argentinian bill pay group. It hs rush times and down times.
LOL, DumbYankee and doublewide Dixie call government employees lazy. Ironic.
