The myth of voter fraud

The corruption comes in the coverup, Holder lying about when he "knew", and the fact that the legal controlling authority is "investigating" itself. And again, it has relevance to the post I quoted. Please remember to pay attention to context, or are you incapable of understanding the concept of context?

Then, if convicted, Holder would be guilty of perjury, not corruption. Your personal distaste for the accused doesn't change legal definitions.

Is Holder the head of the US Congress?

Holder is the top law enforcement agent in the US. Those investigating the crime (where the US agent was murdered directly as a result of this policy) are in that enforcement role. Agents directly involved in the criminal activity were promoted and/or moved or fired. This is coverup actions and this particular activity merits an independent investigation.

If there was a crime comitted by the AG, there are mechanisms in place to recuse him.

Pending evidence and formal charges, you'll just have to be content with the current crop of Congressional investigations, unless you think due process should be suspended.

Or we can appoint an independent council to investigate due to the political nature of the position.

remember what happened to the independent council?

You guys abused oit so badly they ended the practice.

Its just one more piece of the plan to make government not work on purpose

Which changes nothing at all about what I have said in this thread. Do you believe that the head of law enforcement should continue to be in charge of investigating his own corruption (or total ineptitude if corruption isn't found)?

Also, can you tell me what you think personally about early voting? I answered your question...

I'm assuming you meant "independent counsel", earlier. The enabling legislation expired in 1999.

If the facts of the case warrant, Holder will be charged.

If not, that's justice.

The enabling legislation can be passed again (with an expiration date as before). And not necessarily, if not it can be because of corruption and political power. And yeah, counsel. Sorry. Danged homonyms.

Danged homonyms.

No need to call me names...

It was the Bush DOJ that was corrupt.

Just because yours was doesnt mean this one is

And the moon is made of cheese and spaghetti grows on trees. Yup.

Our entire system is corrupt, both political parties. Pelosi told us she was going to drain the swamp. Looks like all she did was put on bigger boots.

Regardless of our politics, ALL of us need to work on term limits. Career politicians was not in the plan.

Dems Plead Guilty to Felony Charges in Voter Fraud Scandal in Troy, New York
WOW...52 whole convictions for voter fraud?

In a city of 50,000?

Why that's almost...no, don't tell me...

.001%!!!!!!

GOOD LORD!

And this is the most "widespread" case of voter fraud they can find!

and yet in 2000 you had WAY over 57,000 Floridians screwed out of voting, and our resident neocon numbskulls just shrug and say "oh well, accidents happen". Their hypocrisy is only surpassed by their sheer willful ignorance and willingness to vote against their personal interests.

He WILL be re-elected, and not all the whining, nor all the horseshit lies the Right make up about the guy is going to change that fact.

Your screeching, increasingly shrill postings only help highlight just how scared and desperate the entire Republican party is.

Your desperate need to defeat Obama next year has caused you and so many others to spout the most ridiculous nonsense and call it fact...those of us who haven't come unhinged like you have are enjoying ourselves immensely!

Reposted because sometimes I just hit the nail right on the head!

Where's the proof that states need voter ID laws to prevent fraud?
