Well, you have this clown as a PAID commentator on Fox News....and Fox News right wing affiliation to the current neocon/teabagger driven GOP cannot be denied. Also, you have Hannity NOT challenging this joker on any level as he would Rev. Sharpton or any other Dem/liberal/Progressive.
If Fox News comes out and says, "mmmm, NO Rev. Petersen, that's not what we're about", then one could contend that the "war on women" is fabrication. But combine Petersen's statements with the current rash of proposed legislation by Red State governors and Captiol Hill politicos to repeal laws that protect women's rights to fair wage and access to various birth control treatments, and the "war on women" is all the more evident.

That influential Righties had a NATIONAL AUDIENCE and could have repudiated that man's remarks, but Sean Hannity just sat by silently as a paid correspondent for FOX news espoused his sexist views, further proof that conservatives are waging a war on women.
Hannity had a national audience watching and he could have spoken up and said, excuse me, but mainstream Republicans don't feel that way...only he didn't.
