The very fact that they keep insisting on fake numbers demonstrates the failure of their effort.

As it happens, I know the Public Affairs Officer for the DC Fire and Rescue Dept, and have since he and my younger brother were in the same third grade class at College Park (MD) Elementary. His name is Pete Piringer, aznd he has made a career out of being ther on-camera spokesman for the various police and fire services in the DC area, including the Prince Georges County (MD) Fire Dept., the Montgomery County (MD) Fire and Rescue Dept, the P.G. County Police Dept., and the Maryland State Police. He knows his shit, he's a straight shooter with no agenda other than an accurate assessment of whatever situation he's explaining, and if he sayus there were 70,000 there, you can take it to the bank. After all, even if he totally blew the call, snd was off by 100%, that's still only 140,00 attendees. It just isn't remotely possible that he was off in his crowd estimate by 2000%. (from a claimed attendance of 1.4 million). Coupling the unlikelihood verging on on impossibility of his estimate being off by that much, with the fact that a 5+ yeart old photo was circulated to support the bogus attendacne figures claimed by the right, and it's clear that they are they are one again lying. There are only three kinds of people currently self-identifying as Republicans: liars, lunatics, and lamebrains (or miscreants, maniacs, and mouth-breathing morons, if you prefer). Stop me before i alliterate again.

BTW, Asswipe needs to have his thesaurus taken from him until he is more familiar with the English language (like when or if he makes it to the fourth grade) Consider this classic: "I defer to Damo's research to silence your redolent filth hole?" In spite of the goofies, there are other good posters here, even some on the right.

With regards to the attendance at the Thousand Miscreant March, I appreciate the insight from your friend, he validates what he been repeatedly said .. but even if Jesus appeared and said he counted 70,000 people, the miscreants would stone him to death if they could. The conservative movement, which developed in the post-WWII, Cold War environment has now fully matured into the most significant political movement of the 21st century. It's great to see young people mobilising and doing something useful, like forming a Bonanza tribute group, rather than hanging out on the streets with undesirables. I think 'Hoss' (far left ironically) is my favourite.
