1984 and school walkouts

Nope it's a suicide, it is unrelated to the issue of "gun violence:

There are 310 million guns in civilian hands in this country. a ban would do nothing. Are you for sending men with guns to take away these 310 million guns? We know you won't go, you'll send someone elses son.

yes, horrific events. Tell me what you propose and how it would have stopped any of these.

I have plenty, you have pouting, tears, and mindless parroting...

Obviously, you’ve never seen a gun suicide. Yeah, pal, they’re violent.

There you go with your bullshit “would” again.

I gave you the proposal to stop future Sandy Hooks and Las Vegas. Literacy is not your strong suit.

Methodly is very important. Gun shots are almost always fatal so no time to reconsider and not much anyone can do to save your life if they find you in time. Taking pills gives you a chance to be found and stomach pumped. Same with slashing your wrist or some other attempt. A gun shot gives little chance for a rethink on your choice.

Quick and painless. Isn't that the point? ... you must be a woman.

How many people are killed by "pills" each year?

The point is, not everyone who is considering suicide actually wants to die but are in a downward spiral/moment in which pills or something less lethal might allow their lives to be saved and potentially changed while a gun shot most likely will not. Do you believe anyone who considers suicide should be successful at it?

1984 is old news. I was there. it sucked . war on drugs. paraquat. this is 2018. 1984 is old news. we have been living this shit for 34 years. I literally remember cameras being installed at the us gov. public school facilities and "lockdown" being trained into innocent minds. remember 1 dollar midnight movies ? this whole thing has sucked. my life is not about gov. control. unto The Lord Jesus Christ I exist today. Thank You Jesus.

Jumping off a tall building or cliff (in the realm of what you call "some other method") gives you little chance to re-think your choice as well. There are other "choices" also.

That's not up to me.

actually there are two types of suicides, d00ds and gals who want to fvcking die, and those who don't and want attention.

No you didn't why lie? I know you are angry, and rather coddled but lets have an adult conversation here.

Jumping off a building is "violent"

drowning is "Violent". etc.

You've seen a gun suicide?

Yeah, I did, punk. That you can’t follow is your problem.

What about buildings and drownings? WTF does that have to do with guns?

Plenty.

If they don't "actually want to die", they're not considering suicide. It's called getting attention.

That is true. Often it's an "I'll show you, you will miss me when I'm gone" kind of thing. They just don't realize the finality of it. That they won't be here to see everyone sad about their death.
