No, you pretty much jumped right in on posting this story, which, according to the AP, is nonsense. A black passenger was also targeted in the second incident and the racial element of the first incident has yet to be confirmed by anyone.

Why would that even matter? We're talking about racially-motivated violence, not crime generally. Further, your description of "hate crimes" is bullshit and shows a complete lack of understanding of what you are talking about. Simply stated, juries have little to do with it. Further, how do you explain black-on-black or white-on-white crimes? Self-hate?

The fuck it is bullshit, when whites commit crimes on blacks, the spectre of racism is suggested and often even assumed. Whether it be by jury or judge.
When blacks commit crimes on whites, as you yourself show, well then it must be because of some other reason.

Self race crime does not imply any hate of course, but cross race certainly could be.

Racism exists, it's all around, and equally distributed. King's message was not 'There are white racists, too', it was 'racism exists and it must end'.

This would of course be national news if it was a group of whites who assaulted a black girl (Duke lacrosse incident), but since it's the other way around, it is barely mentioned in the media.

He posted some pictures at the other site a while back, and his hair was clearly combed forward. I made note of it because when I'm searching for a blackjack table in Vegas, I look specifically for dealers that comb their hair forward. They deal better cards.

No, I'm not a student. Due to my preference to remain anonymous on a previous board I posted inaccurate (or was it?) information about myself in my profile to keep 'em guessing. Now whenever the issue of taxes come up I get ridiculed for being a "student" and not understanding what it's like to be a taxpayer as a means to devalue my correct opinions.

Ok, oh, I hope I didn't put you on the spot. But if you were a student i figured you at the doctorate level, it didn't make sense to me any other way.

Conservatives will believe anything though so I am not surprised they still buy it. :)
