3-Year-Old Colorado Boy Dies From Accidental Gunshot

Which of those laws prevented one of the deaths that have occurred from accidents?

I don't understand your question, how do you prevent a death that already happened? Many lives have been saved due to regulation of vehicles.

More dishonest deflections; a sign of a dimwit who is desperately trying to wallow in the never ending circle of stupidity. I understand; stupidity is where you find comfort.

You don't understand the question because you really are THAT obtuse, THAT dishonest and THAT stupid.

If regulations work so well, why are 250,000 children injured or killed every year in automobile accidents? And why are liberals desperate to claim how unsafe guns are but ignore the FACT that even highly regulated things like automobiles cause more death and injury than unregulated ownership of guns?

Are you really THAT stupid to think that MORE gun regulations will prevent accidents from happening; or dumber still, prevent criminals from using them?

You made a moronic argument and now want to avoid owning it; typical for a leftist dimwitted repugnant asshole.

Then since all those vehicular laws saved none of those who died, what new regulations would have saved them?

again Garud... there are also rules on where and when you can use a gun legally. There are background checks required when purchasing a gun through a licensed dealer (federal law... something a lawyer should understand). There are penalties for using a gun that violates the laws in place. There are penalties for reckless endangerment with a firearm. There are laws on negligence. If you get convicted of a felony, you lose your right to own a gun.

Those laws for cars also ONLY apply to cwrs being used on public roads. You need NOTHING to buy a car except cash. And afterwords you can use it on your own private property however you like.

A valid point... though I am afraid poor little Garud will not return to see it as he has fled the scene

What does uk and france do that wind up with 1/4 guns?

France has 32% the guns per capita that we do and about 28% of the deaths by gun... so they are pretty similar in terms of guns per capita vs. death by guns per capita.. England has about 6% of the guns we do per capita and 2% of deaths by gun. As Tom has stated, Britain understates their crime rates. So who knows what their real numbers are.

So in essence, it doesn't appear to be gun laws that are 'working' there. It is simply cultural differences. We have more guns per capita and consequently more deaths per capita. So the only solution would be to TAKE the guns. I know that is your position, but it is a direct violation of the 2nd Amendment rights we are guaranteed.

Do you think taking away guns is a viable option in this country?

Couldn't remember when... didn't want to look it up. :)

Yes, and before that pivotal year, when children could order guns directly in the mail (I know more than a few people who did so), why the streets were literally rivers of blood. It was like a a scene from the Divine Comedy, specifically the Inferno book. Demons roamed the night and Lucifer ruled the Earth.
