A divided nation asks: What's holding our country together?

The Bible was inspired by God, written by men, so technically yes, however the inspire r is not!

God condemns women who interrupt their husbands, condemns gay people, endorses slavery, etc.

Why is it that "god" always hates the exact same people that old, white, male christians hate?

Is that just a FANTASTIC coincidence?

Never said that they condemn themselves, I am trying to help them, by pointing out where they are separated from God based on unrepentant sin!
That’s what all believers say about their religions, I’m trying to invert you to save you, in the past it was done by the sword.

Others claim their holy books are divinely inspired as well. Yours is not unique in that respect.

Other books from the Geeks I mean Greeks do not have any authenticating factors to support their claims.

The God of the Bible does.

It is called Israel.

No nation could survive their history without a God who kept them intact even when they rebelled against their God time and time and time again. The God of the Jews lives.

Wrong.

All humanity is condemned and headed for hell from the womb.

God provides eternal life by penal substitution.

I have yet to bring forward much.

I have way better information to support my views.

I'd actually much rather talk here about Balkanization.

Why it is a problem for not just an issue for the USA but a global issue.

That's actually more on topic.

Balkanization is a big reason for USA division.

With all due respect brother, you’re speaking of the perspective your experience.. not to suggest that isn’t valuable in conversation about the state of today’s America, but there are far more pressing issues Germaine to that discussion

No disrespect intended.

Yes, the Jews believe they are God’s chosen people, but didn’t they turn their backs on his Son? So now God’s chosen people are the Christians and the Jews will have to convert. See how each religion believes they are the only ones of their chosen God.

History, or his-story. There is a plethora of legends, tales, and great stories that mirror the Bible and most predated the Bible by hundreds of years. Same story.

His-story.

Yes, a big problem. Those that wrote the Gospels weren’t even eye witnesses. They received their account from others.
Agreed. It's a common problem with ancient texts. IMHO, it's best to look at the concept they are attempting to convey rather than the "power of the written word" being presented. I do not take any ancient texts literally. Some can be verified to a small extent, but the point seems to be conveying a way of thinking, not just saying who did what to whom.

Example. If you wanted to end racism in the civilized world, is it better to stamp it out with laws and, when necessary, force or is it better to try to teach others a way of thinking where racism is unimportant because it doesn't exist?

I support education over laws, but sometimes a population refuses to be educated, so laws become necessary.
