Read what I wrote...and see that you distorted the intent. My point that a liberal, like Jennifer Rubin is boosting the correct party...as are the many conservatives I mentioned. They are disgusted with Trump...as well they should be. It is not only liberals and middle-of-the-roaders who find him to be a disgusting abomination...but also many influential conservatives.





I understand you not supporting certain things Trump does...thoroughly. I truly grok that. I felt that same way about Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein. I just did not support certain things they did.



My opposition to Trump has less to do with politics...than the fact that I think him to be the most ignorant, stupid, bumbling, incompetent, classless person ever to represent America on the world's stage.

Visited the golf course yesterday to see a few friends. Did not play...or even consider playing. The temp felt like 95. People were going out. Not sure how they do it, but most looked much younger than I. I take my short, fast walk (about a mile and a quarter) each morning before it gets too hot.

I cannot wait for America to be rid of this disgusting man, Trump.

My hubby tried to play a round the other day, he had to quit after 9. I’m a mean wife, I told him no more golf till October. ;)

The last time I played golf, I was twenty, and in the RAF. I reckon it's a young man's game taken over by businessmen to discuss deals! How anyone can even go out in this weather baffles me, even to visit the nineteenth hole!

Thank you for replying. It does show however, that the Left is bereft of ideas on how to successfully move society forward and better it. Instead they are stuck on the failed ideas of the past in Socialism, Statist Capitalism, Fascism, and Communism.

I'm in the anything but the Left is better camp. Conservatism has its flaws but they're relatively minor compared to Leftist ideas. I'd prefer classic Liberalism myself with limited government and maximum freedom, the antithesis of Leftist ideas. Nazism is a Leftist ideology. It combines elements of Socialism, Statist Capitalism, Nationalism, and a big oppressive government to run everything in the country it is controlling. That's Leftist, not on the Right or Conservative.

If American conservatism had any ethical standards at all (I am not suggesting in any way that it does)...it would start a new political party aside from the Republican Party...and call itself The American Nazi Party.

American conservatism sucks like a black hole, TA...and its adherents are either easily duped fools...or morons.

Well, Liberalism, after all, flourished in the Nineteenth Century. State Capitalism is universal now, but always vulnerable when in crisis to Know-Nothing lower-middle-class fascism like that of Trumpf. What exactly do you see as modern? Adam Smith? He was in fact a much better man than such a notion would suggest, though his ideas have never been tried out in practice! :)
