Read what I wrote...and see that you distorted the intent. My point that a liberal, like Jennifer Rubin is boosting the correct party...as are the many conservatives I mentioned. They are disgusted with Trump...as well they should be. It is not only liberals and middle-of-the-roaders who find him to be a disgusting abomination...but also many influential conservatives.





I understand you not supporting certain things Trump does...thoroughly. I truly grok that. I felt that same way about Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein. I just did not support certain things they did.



My opposition to Trump has less to do with politics...than the fact that I think him to be the most ignorant, stupid, bumbling, incompetent, classless person ever to represent America on the world's stage.

I thought I had made that clear.

Here's how I view it.

Say you are pro-choice. Then Trump comes out and says he's pro-choice and now you say you are pro-life as a result. That's Jenifer Rubin in a nutshell. You can think Trump is the worst President ever. You can not want him to be in office. But if you have no core beliefs other than I'm going to be against whatever this person supports then I don't hold much respect for that.

Okay, we agree, CA.

I have core expectations (not "beliefs")...none of which Trump meets. As for Rubin, if she has vacillated...so be it. I have vacillated on some major things also.

Rubin and I...and a lot of people...want to be rid of Trump no matter what.

What can I say? The guy brings out the worst in people...including the people who are NOT nuts about him.

To me it's at the core of so many problems. Waaay to many of us, myself included, either like or don't like a policy or action based on the person doing it. So if 'my side' does it they support it. If the 'other side' does it, they don't. And we see this over and over and over and this is far bigger than just Trump.
