A individuals skin color has little to do with their ability to learn or to be educated.

Their physical up-bring and environment can be a factor.

You're asking why they study the divide between urban and rural whites. I'm giving you the answer. Of course what gets left out in that answer is educated rural people often leave for urban areas thus rural areas having a brain drain. But the elite costal whites write books such as What's The Matter With Kansas about why don't rural whites vote the same as urban and suburban whites.

You can speak better about the black community better than I but when I've read black authors talk about the black community ive never seen a big emphasis on the black urban-rural divide

Interesting video, although at the end his prediction regarding the 2016 election fell on its face, as we discovered much to our dismay. That doesn't mean though that he is wrong about the dwindling #s of white Xtian voters. After all, Clinton got 3M more votes than Trump; he only won because they finessed the electoral college.
