Then deport him to Costa Rica. I'm good with that. He is deportable, and so long as he doesn't try and return, that's great. Situation settled. Move on to the next illegal and deport them too.
You do know that Garcia had an order of deportation on him prior to Trump taking office don't you? You do know that Garcia's lawyer(s) filed an asylum claim based on his fear of going to prison if deported to El Salvador. That too was denied but the Biden administration put a temporary stay on it. All Trump did initially was carry out the order of deportation.
Then Boasberg and Xinis got involved and have been losing one ruling after another on appeal. The process is a trainwreck only because the US judicial system has become one.
So you have accepted, but will never admit, that Albrego is not guilty of the crimes he was accused of by the Trump admin. Or you taking a 'crime should not be prosecuted' position. either way i accept your clear change from claiming he was so clearly guilty.
I had no issue with Trump following the law to deport him. It was ignoring the law and sending them to a torture prison when it was clear to us (not you) that the crime they accused him of was a lie and they could never prove it in America and so were using this as a way to apply summary guilt on people.
The US court system is working exactly as it should. It is MEANT to be a check and balance, and it is MEANT to have rulings that are perceived as erroneous or are actually erroneous.
The very appeals system you seem to be WRONGLY suggesting the system is broken proves the system is working EXACTLY as intended.
You just think any ruling that goes against your position that is over ruled should never have happened and that is stupid. Of course they can and should and then they get over ruled. System works when that happens. That is not judges exercising power they should not as you keep saying in idiocy.
