The B&T is my favorite Yuengling brew. And if you think Sam Adams is expensive, you should see what I spent on a 6 pack of Bell Expedition Stout. Almost $20.00.
I just can't justify paying that much for something that you're going to pee out in 30 minutes. Too much of the Scots in me I guess.

Those aren't all at one time. They're WAY to heavy to be had more than 2 in a sitting, so I get at least 3 days (usually 6 though) out of my $20.

True dat, especially the Canadians. The water is better, and the soil more rich the further north that you go. I can't grow the tomatoes here like I used to in Upstate NY, even though the growing season was pitifully short.
Psftshaw, Alaskans are taking over the micro brews!

I have yet to taste a Canadian beer that can compare to a good American wheat ale. But then again their craft brewing is a newer scene than ours.

I noticed while in Vancouver that wheat ales aren't really big up there. Ambers and honey brews were all the rage, and I, being an amber guy, enjoyed the selections. The honey beers were also pretty good, too.

That being said, one of the best wheat ales comes out of Toronto, in the form of Blue Moon.

Since I've moved on, I will admit that Blue Moon has become far less appealing then when I was into it. Alaskan White is pretty damn good wheat ale.

I've heard great things about the Alaskan brewing company, though haven't had the good fortune to try any yet.

Good on them! Is that held near Stanley Park in Vancouver BC?

...No.... Funny I thought you'd know what the Stanley cup is. It's the American and Canadian hockey championship. It's played over 7 game at max, with the team winning 4 games being named champion. It's played at both teams home towns changing every other game I believe.

The game(s) have been cancelled.
Nobel Peace Prize winner President Obama was proclaimed the winner, all by himself, just for talking about how he would win the championship.

The dirtiest team in hockey might have something to say about that.

Things I know about hockey, other than the specifics of the game:

Invented by Canadians, but dominated by the Ruskies
Calgary is supposed to be a pretty hot (albeit cold) team
USA beat the USSR in 1980 to great hoopla
Wayne Gretsky
Mighty Ducks movies are a guilty pleasure
