After Years of Spreading Lies, Election Deniers Face Consequences

Nobody tried to overthrow anything, they were challenging the election results which many people have done throughout US history.

Trump was hardly the first to file lawsuits on this issue.

Why do you type such blatant and easily proven wrong lies? Trump challenged the elction results and lost utterly. He asked for recounts up the wazoo and got them. They showed the election was accurate. He went to court 60 times trying to get a judge to overturn the election. He lost every case as the judges thought he should have some evidence. He had none. That is challenging the election. It was also way overboard. He wasted millions on those attempts.
1-6 was an insurrection aimed at overthrowing a fair and honest election and turning America into a dictatorship with Daffy Donald in charge.
You are a Russian bot trying to harm America.

Challenging election results are not illegal.

And he had nothing to do with 1-6

Giving a political rally is not illegal.

Why there, that day, at that time. It is obvious.

Because people had already planned to attack the capital.

They wanted to incite a riot, which they did when the protesters showed up.

Trump had nothing to do with that, the four people who did were already convicted of it.

Trump gave a long, and very boring, political speech. If you read it you'll see what I mean.

Once the four began their assault others joined in for whatever their reasons were and it just spread like wildfire.

What do you think Trump would have to gain by organizing a riot at the capital? Do you really think he thought he could take over the government with 2000 people?

C'mon.

Trump organized the attack. He called them there that day. Why? The Capitol Building was closed. Congress was inside and did not they were there.

Trump says he did ‘nothing wrong.’ Even Republicans disagree.

Increasingly, few Americans actually believe Trump did “nothing” wrong, according to new polling. And while Republicans overwhelmingly say they don’t think Trump broke the law, most — even a very strong majority — fault him in some measure.

In an Associated Press-NORC poll, 1 in 5 or fewer Americans said they believed Trump did “nothing wrong” in each of his four legal cases. Of his role in the Jan. 6 insurrection, 21 percent said he did “nothing wrong.”

The MAGA fascists are less than 20% of the population.
