I agree that we can't change our genes. I'm talking about "feeling" like you're a different gender/sex than your genes say you are or being attracted to a different sex than nature says you should.

So, you agree that you never decided to be a straight male, right? You just always were both.

If transgneder isnt it's a separate gender then how can a person identify as such? That person believes they are the other gender. They are not the other gender so if transgender is not a separate gender then there is no way to identify oneself as such unless they have a mental illness because they believe they are something that doesn't exist.

Would you call him the "first" Black man elected (win) Governor of California and in the process denying that title to a real Black when and if a real Black were to win?
