When you're talking about attraction and gender, "feelings" are all there is. You never chose to be attracted to females - you just were, right? You never looked at man and women and thought "You know, I'm could be attracted to either one.... but I'm going to be attracted to just females."
You just were attracted to females and you just felt like a male/man.
