America Seems Doomed to Split Up

Why don't you go lay an egg.

Why don't you go and at least try to read up on the Constitution of the United States, the constitution of the State you are in (if any), the writings of Karl Marx, and the writings and philosophy of Plato.
I have chickens that lay eggs for me.

We have constitutional lawyers who have spent years trying to interpret and understand the constitution, yet you have become an expert overnight.

'Expert' worship. False authority fallacy. The Constitution of the United States is the ONLY authoritative reference of the Constitution of the United States.
You do not need a law degree or anyone to 'interpret' the Constitution. It is plainly written.

No. HR1 violates Articles I, II, IV, V, and amendments 1, 4, 5, 9, 10, 12, and 14 of the Constitution of the United States.

And Congress is given the power in Article I, Section 4.

The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.

Into the Night 12/31
Currently, it looks like GA is going to choose Republican electors.
AZ looks like it might also, but seems to be further away from actually choosing.

So we agree. He isn't relevant to this conversation.

The Democrats do not recognize the Constitution of the United States nor any State constitution.

There is no federal government.

Vaccines were already available at your local drug store by December, 2020. They still are.

Government doesn't distribute the vaccine. Pfizer did, through their usual distribution channels. By December of 2020, you could go down to your local drug store or clinic and get your vaccine shots.

The vaccine has been available at your local drug store or clinic since December 2020.

Nope. He was a RINO.

Presidents do not spend money. Only the House does. Again, you fail to recognize the Constitution of the United States.

Cheney is also a RINO.

Obama did not leave a healthy economy. Tax cuts are not a cost. Tax cuts do improve the economy.

So we agree. His opinion isn't the issue.

Correct. Democrats did.

There is no federal government.

The vaccine is already available. It has been since December 2020.

Buzzword fallacies. Straw man fallacy. Learn what 'fact' means. Doublespeak.

Too funny

Hey, “Joe Bongino’s” opinions are the source of this thread, apparently someone found them relevant

Sounds like a “Joe Bongino,” now Democrats don’t recognize the Constitution, from what I’ve seen here, conservatives don’t understand the Constitution they supposedly love

And now we don’t have a Federal Gov’t, almost a given that this is a deflection intended to turn the exchange into a debate on semantics

Trump promised million doses by end of December, failed, also failed miserably in their January goal, and then it was the million doses they claimed were being held in reserve didn’t exist, yeah, that’s success

Bush was a conservative Republican, so unless you think the GOP is further to the right than conservatism, he was a Republican

Wrong, House begins spending bills, which move thru the Senate and have to be approved by the President, signed off by the President, executed by the President, why did you think Trump’s insisted on having his name on the checks. Did I mention many conservatives don’t understand the Constitution they supposedly love?

Important piece of two GOP Administration plus the darling of talk radio and Fox demagogues, but now he’s a RINO

Obama left a progressing economy, nearly every economic indicator proves it, all Trump did was not f*ck it up, well, until 2020 that is, and unlike his predecessor and Trump, Obama reduced discretionary spending, something the supposed deficit/debt Republicans had no problem with when Trump reversed that trend. So much for cutting spending

Wrong again, shocking, it wasn’t Biden banners flying high on January 6th

Available, barely, even though millions was promised

Inane

Now, why don’t you try breaking it down by adjectives and adverbs, maybe then you’ll be able to sell your radio rants as facts

When “nightingale” resorts to pulling off of his Google list of fallacies you know he is done

Nope. Time magazine did actually print such an article, admitting that the Democrats rigged the election.

no, it did not....read it. it had a satirical headline about how there was a "secret bi-partisan campaign" to save the election, but it had nothing to do with rigging the election, or voter fraud, or any of the silly ass impossible shit trump spewed and his voters believed, and besides, IT WAS CALLED BI-PARTISAN, not democratic. here ya go....get someone to read it to ya.

The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election

A weird thing happened right after the Nov. 3 election: nothing.

The nation was braced for chaos. Liberal groups had vowed to take to the streets, planning hundreds of protests across the country. Right-wing militias were girding for battle. In a poll before Election Day, 75% of Americans voiced concern about violence.

Instead, an eerie quiet descended. As President Trump refused to concede, the response was not mass action but crickets. When media organizations called the race for Joe Biden on Nov. 7, jubilation broke out instead, as people thronged cities across the U.S. to celebrate the democratic process that resulted in Trump’s ouster.

There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans. The pact was formalized in a terse, little-noticed joint statement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and AFL-CIO published on Election Day. Both sides would come to see it as a sort of implicit bargain–inspired by the summer’s massive, sometimes destructive racial-justice protests–in which the forces of labor came together with the forces of capital to keep the peace and oppose Trump’s assault on democracy.

The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election–an extraordinary shadow effort dedicated not to winning the vote but to ensuring it would be free and fair, credible and uncorrupted. For more than a year, a loosely organized coalition of operatives scrambled to shore up America’s institutions as they came under simultaneous attack from a remorseless pandemic and an autocratically inclined President. Though much of this activity took place on the left, it was separate from the Biden campaign and crossed ideological lines, with crucial contributions by nonpartisan and conservative actors. The scenario the shadow campaigners were desperate to stop was not a Trump victory. It was an election so calamitous that no result could be discerned at all, a failure of the central act of democratic self-governance that has been a hallmark of America since its founding.

Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears. They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction. After Election Day, they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result. “The untold story of the election is the thousands of people of both parties who accomplished the triumph of American democracy at its very foundation,” says Norm Eisen, a prominent lawyer and former Obama Administration official who recruited Republicans and Democrats to the board of the Voter Protection Program.

Correction, we have constitutional lawyers who have spent years trying to creatively interpret and usurp the Constitution.

Printing money without a corresponding increase in wealth is inflation, dude.
Mass mail in voting is not legal in most States. You again do not recognize the constitution of any State.

"Mass mail in voting is not legal in most States."

Really, so what state are we speaking of?

Well, if we do split up I hope there is a sane zone option and I have time to move there with the other Libertarians.

There are at least 35 states that either require or allow mail in voting. So your bullshit gets shot down once again

Both parties have mastered the art of pretending that Article I Section 8 doesn't limit FedCo.

Section 8 grants Congress powers. They just like to expand those grants of power to do whatever their political beliefs desire. And I think the American public supports most of those expansive interpretations of federal power. Everybody wants their stimulus money, help with keeping businesses open, help after hurricanes and floods, laws regulating immigration, etc., etc.
