It is an unstable form of government, typically dissolving into an oligarchy or dictatorship before long (Athens became a dictatorship). The last time it was tried was CHAZ in Seattle. That dissolved into a brutal oligarchy.

Democracy differs from aristocracy and authoritarianism by vesting the power to make laws and enforce or defend rights by way of elected representatives, and in our case, by also defending the Constitution.
You appear to be making a case of supporting authoritarianism by pretending representative democracy does not exist, a claim which I dismiss.
