America will regret its decision to reelect Donald Trump

I don't think she's welcome anywhere these days...she humiliated her party and her country...and wasted a billion and a half dollars... (I wonder how many people actually voted for her...not against President Trump...)
Can you imagine if she actually had been elected what a disaster that would have been?
I think Jill Biden voted for Trump.

I don't have a plan because it's not as simple as Trump told you it would be.\

I've worked for a company that has on a couple of occasions had to shutter off-shore manufacturing and R&D sites. IT doesn't happen OVERNIGHT. And it costs a fuck-ton of money to do.

YES we need manufacturing jobs onshore and I'm all for bringing them back. But do NOT expect that getting us into a trade war with our closest allies and running up prices MASSIVELY (while simultaneously gutting our own sales in foreign markets) is going to be a FIX you guys have the patience for.

It is expensive, complex and WILL CAUSE PRICES TO INCREASE BY DEFINITION.

There is no way around these HARD FACTS OF LIFE.
You're such a cutie. You come here just to argue with everyone. Now go back to my original post re. the way tariffs SHOULD work. Make sure you digest it fully before you enter into a discussion with me.

Your anecdotes have absolutely nothing to do with my post

Tariffs can work as a scalpel. NOT the kind of overarching trade wars brewing with our major trading partners.

WHO DO YOU THINK PAYS THE TARIFFS IN THE END?

Again...if you want to discuss this with ME, go and read my original post.

Then I might even discuss how the tax giveaway of '17 COULD have brought manufacturing back, but trump had no interest in that.

Can't answer a simple question. Guess I'll move along since there's nothing to see here.

If you continue to lecture me using your opinions, you might as well move along. Especially given that you have no clue what my position is.

You just look for a reason to argue, without even digesting what you are responding to.

It gets very old, very quickly. By all means...just move along.

Who do you think benefits when American manufacturers become more competitive?

You want American manufacturers to be MORE competitive? Well then you've just invented OFFSHORING JOBS. That's exactly what the CEO's are driving for. Lower OpEx in the form of salaries, safety and environmental.

Bring those jobs back to the US and you AUTOMATICALLY pay a LOT more in salaries, you pay a LOT more to keep those workers safe and you pay a LOT more to keep your product from screwing up the environment.

ALL OF THOSE THINGS ARE GREAT TO SEE, but they WILL BE EXPENSIVE. There is literally NO OTHER WAY FOR IT TO BE.

It's basics of simple addition. You can't pay people more to make a widget and keep the widget the same price.

I WILL GLADLY support your legislation capping CEO pay as well, and even moderating how big a profit a company can take. That might help keep the prices lower. But that's central control of the economy and usually you guys on the RIght are 100% against that.

I don't see how you are going to bring these manufacturing jobs back AND keep prices lower. It doesn't even make sense. YOu may as well tell everyone you are going to start levitating to work in the morning. It ain't gonna happen.

No- the majority of Americans that VOTED did not want Harris,
The site sycophantic dumbass, Earl, stated that ' the American people ' did not want Harris. That is sheepdip.

Pathetic pEarl and his ilk cannot accept that #TRE45ON got only 1.5% more of the votes cast than Harris. In other words less than half of the total votes cast went to him. Behold, retrieved just now from Google:
