America will regret its decision to reelect Donald Trump

An interesting definition. Mine is strictly textbook:

The 14 characteristics are:

1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism

Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs,
and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing
and in public displays.

2.Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights

Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are
persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of “need.” The
people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions,
assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

3.Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause

The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a
perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals;
communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

4.Supremacy of the Military

Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a
disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected.
Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

5.Rampant Sexism

The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated.
Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to
abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy.

6.Controlled Mass Media

Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the
media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media
spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

7.Obsession with National Security

Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

8.Religion and Government are Intertwined

Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a
tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from
government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically
opposed to the government’s policies or actions.

9.Corporate Power is Protected

The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put
the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government
relationship and power elite.

10.Labor Power is Suppressed

Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government,
labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed .

11.Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts

Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and
academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or
even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often
refuse to fund the arts.

12.Obsession with Crime and Punishment

Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The
people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the
name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited
power in fascist nations.

13.Rampant Cronyism and Corruption

Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who
appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority
to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for
national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by
government leaders.

14.Fraudulent Elections

Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are
manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition
candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries,
and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to
manipulate or control elections.
Fascism is no a form of government. It is a form of socialistm. It is government manipulation of markets. False authority fallacy.

Hater, while I feel sorry that you are not the brightest bulb on your family tree, it's only honest of me to point out you are wrong again.

Having witnessed what works and what doesn't with friends and family, I'm a big fan of tough love...although the link below favors "setting boundries". IMO, they are close enough to be the same. In short, your family would benefit you more by stopping letting you be a mooch. They should kick you out while emphasizing their love for you.

Tough Love vs. Setting Boundaries

Instead of tough love, healthy boundaries are often a more effective and sustainable solution. Your boundaries are the limits to what you are willing to accept in a relationship.4

Healthy boundaries should be clearly communicated. It is also essential to maintain these boundaries by following through with consequences. Examples of boundaries for dealing with addiction include:

  • Not allowing drugs or alcohol in your home
  • Not giving another person money to pay for drugs or alcohol
  • Prohibiting driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • Refusing to make excuses for another person's actions

Explain these boundaries to the individual. Using "I feel" statements can help express your feelings without being confrontational or accusatory.
So...you take no drugs for your problem, Sybil?

That's a lie, even if there is no treatment for your conditon.

Nope. Fascism is government manipulation of markets. That's it. That's all. It is a form of socialism, like what DEMOCRATS want.

Says the forum's weirdo contrarian ;

These are recent ' Into the Nightsoil's' statements ;

"Sweden is not to the east of the UK "
" There is no such science as paleoclimatology "
" There is no such thing as an unwritten Constitution "
" There were WMD in Iraq "
"There is no "weaponization of the dollar"
"Covid does not kill ."
"It is not possible to have a variant of a variant. "(Subvariants do not exist )
"Israel doesn't want to eradicate Palestine "
Dumbass or troll ?
Both.

They weren't. Scientists formulated the theories. They are not 'discovered'.
Pick your terms. I don't care. You and IBDaMann are so caught up in politics that you literally forgot that, without scientists, we wouldn't even know about the first law of thermodynamics or Stefan-Boltzmann law. This is a point that you both have missed or, because you are liars, have wilfully ignored.

Into the Night is either the single most dishonest troll on the forum or is the single craziest person on the forum, with IBDaMann a close second. There's no middle ground at this point. There's no doubt that people can have their views completely warped by social media/YouTube and taken down the path of the far right or far left conspiracy theories. There are people who become flat-earthers because of YouTube.

Sounds like what Trump has been doing.

You'd best read it again;

"Fascism may be defined as a form of political behavior marked by obsessive preoccupation with community decline, humiliation, or victim-hood and by compensatory cults of unity, energy, and purity, in which a mass-based party of committed nationalist militants, working in uneasy but effective collaboration with traditional elites, abandons democratic liberties and pursues with redemptive violence and without ethical or legal restraints goals of internal cleansing and external expansion." (Anatomy of Fascism, p 218
Perfectly describes the Dem party.

Sad but true. Der Gropenfuhrer has a plan....and it's not just about abusing young girls.

Science has no politics or religion. Science is not people at all.

You cannot use your Marxist 'we' here. You deny and discard the 1st law of thermodynamics and the Stefan-Boltzmann law because of your religion. You obviously DON'T know about either law, other than their name.

Mantra 1a. Lame. The Democrat party is a conspiracy. It is no theory.

How can you live with yourself posting this shit ?
What is it about the dem party's full blown marxists/commies/socialists/progressives/ etc. that hasn't made
you aware of the anti American fools that they are and what they believe? From what we've seen of you at
this forum is that you are a radical lefty and as a bonus you are a very disturbed anti Semite. The racist
Guno would agree with me on the latter that you are an anti-Semite.

Both you and kapo are committed pro-genocide assholes- but I'm not going to follow your descent into ad hominem any further.

The contention is that you would like to demonstrate that the definition of fascism can be applied to fit the Democrats. So, go ahead. Demonstrate. Or stfu.
