Americans by and large are a spoiled lazy group.

I don't ignore the manipulations by the greed driven corporations, just can't really do anything about it except thru votes. I just do not think there is any conspiracy by a relatively small group causing this.

Do you avoid buying Chinese made goods AHZ ?
This is the most powerful tool we as consumers have, as consumer spending is 60%+ of our economy.

You just place more emphasis on the faults of americans, instead of focusing on the market manipulations. Why is that?

It is a long and time honored traditions that policies of a country be fashioned to protect the standard of living of the people of the country. Now selling us out has become cool on the left and the right.

We pass all sorts of laws restricting trade based on moral considerations. We don't take your consumer driven approach with kiddie porn, nor should we with slave labor and currency manipulation. Why do you keep backsliding? Why is it so hard for you to take a principled and pro-american position on an issue? Afraid you won't sound cool?

No embargo is needed if consumers here do not buy the stuff....

You have arbitrarily decided the two are incomparable, so you can win, and say dirty words. But they are comparable. "The people should decide on an individual basis what is moral" is a recipe for immorality. Have you met people?

Oh yeah. sure. we can ban trade for ivory, or for white supremacy, but not slave labor. Is slavery only bad when it's a white master and a different race underling? Is chinese on chinese slavery ok because they're the same race. You mind is all mixed up, and thinking of these issues you have let slide and justified in your mind upsets you, I see.
