Liberal economic policies actually lift people out of poverty. Look at Europe.
Why do you think so few Democrats really fight for liberal economics? Most of them want the poor to stay poor, just like the Republicans.

Giving one person someone else's money doesn't lift anyone out of poverty. And the Republicans don't want people to stay poor.

Are you kidding? Who do you think created the wealth gap that is keeping the masses poor or struggling and the wealthy living like royalty? The Repubs want to continue looting the poor and middle-class. It makes them richer and more powerful. Why did Trump give a couple trillion to the top 1 percent? He claimed it was a tax cut for the people and you must have believed it. The wealthy are creating a plutocracy and you are voting for it.

America spends the most on the military and then fights countries way behind them in technology and armament. We fought in Iraq and Vietnam. We own the skies and bomb at will. we have the tanks and the bombs. Then we lose. Our military is using old planning and must learn to adapt to the new wars. Of course, people fight real hard when they defend their homelands from foreign invaders. Iraq was guaranteed to be a few weeks of war.
Iran is very mountainous and Iranis know their home turf. They will hide in valleys and caves, then come out when we give up hunting them. More Americans to get killed or wounded. Mega billions of dollars out the window. What is the prize? What can we win? Well,maybe Trump can get re-elected. That is worth the cost to rightys and Trump.

It does if we have a system that continually redistributes wealth.
Republican economic policies always cause a recession and almost always make inequality worse.

You brought up education when you said we spend as much on the military as we do on education. I'm saying that is a sign that we're spending too much on the military.
