First and foremost; defending the nation and it's interests is the Constitutional duty of the Federal Government. Redistributing wealth to buy the votes of low information voters is not.

Secondly; it is not the Government's role to redistribute wealth.

Lastly; the Military budget takes up the smallest portion of the Federal budget next to interest on the debt.

The bottom line is this; the Federal Government has spent $21 trillion over the last four decades on the war on poverty, which was a lie, and the result has been increased poverty.

Throwing money at problems and human issues does not fix the problem. Liberals are too stupid to comprehend the obvious.
