Nothing that cures anything would ever be profitless... the problem we have is most of the profitless research is profitless for a reason.

One thing I know, government funded Covid "research" (according to current reports) likely infected the rest of the world and killed millions when it got out of that WHO funded research lab doing gain of function research in China.

Not true, the Salk Vaccine and methods to address Ebola weren’t turned into billion dollar profits, and bit grew out of University research

Where did I say in any of the above that I wanted the government to subsidize drug companies? Nowhere

What I am saying is that the majority of research in the US is done by Universities, University research partiality funded by the Government, and Trump now wants to end that which has been responsible for America’s progress. Did you think all those students at MIT were attending classes 24/7

Science isn't funding. Science isn't a 'research' or 'study'. Science isn't racism. Science isn't a government agency, grant program, university, college, or 'scientists'.
