So, rationally, when were we "better"? What era was Trump talking about? When there were no child labor laws? When women couldn't vote? When we had slavery?

It doesn't wash. Trump was saying the same thing, unless he was only speaking to rich white landowners throughout history.

And yeah - there is no comparison between the Lakers and Warriors, and certainly not between the Clippers and Lakers.

Hillary Clinton said America has always been great but not whole. There may not be a lot I agree with her on but I basically do here. America has been the greatest experiment in democracy the world has seen. But at the same time we are far from perfect.
