Riveting as always, but waiting for the crowd to stop cheering wastes time. I know the Republican debates are just people yelling at each other, but Democrat debates should be held to a higher standard.

ising 2020 Democratic Presidential contender Andrew Yang — known for his $1,000 “Freedom Dividend” promise — spoke out against the mainstream narrative that Trump’s 2016 election win was due to Russia, racism, sexism, and Facebook during his Monday rally.
During the electric campaign event, filled with hundreds of supporters on a cold and windy evening in front of the Lincoln Memorial, Yang wasn’t afraid to talk about the ridiculous media narrative.
“I’m not a career politician, as most of you know. I’m an entrepreneur. I’m a problem solver. And the problem I’m here to solve is the problem that Americans have been struggling with for the past two years, and the problem is this — why is Donald Trump is our President?” said Yang.
He continued, “Now, if you go to the mainstream media and say ‘Hey, how did Donald Trump win in 2016?,’ what are the explanations that you get?”

The Yang campaign has struggled to expand its reach nationwide while fending off the waves of alt-right supporters who support—with varying degrees of authenticity—Yang’s candidacy and advocacy for Universal Basic Income. Yang’s campaign, like other grassroots movements, relies on building a volunteer network across the country–a need McCaffrey apparently sought to leverage for his own purposes.
Yang is a way, way outsider who entered late and has no following. He is trying to get noticed. He is in no position to say anything. He was given a shot that he did not earn. Even Steyer is getting on stage. The Dems are being very fair. The problem is when you have 23 candidates, nobody will get time to stake out all their positions. Not a plot, just the reality of a huge field.
