This was a long time ago, and she has since changed her position on this. She now supports gay marriage. And she has proved it with her actions. This is also mentioned in your link:

I'm sure that there is not a single candidate out there who doesn't have some sort of baggage. I expect the media to find and point out any skeletons in the closet, then leave it to us to decide which ones we can live with, and which ones we can't. Personally, I can accept if someone changes their stance over time on an issue. For instance, Obama was not in favor of SSM at first but over time he came to see that it was a denial of a basic human right. At the same time, he was not known for making homophobic statements, or promoting legislation discriminating against LGBT ppl as Ms. Gabbard did. There is a big difference between someone who undergoes a sea change and acknowledges that their former stance was wrong, and someone like Toadstool or Roy Moore who continues to insist that "No, I'm not racist" or "No, I didn't try to date underage girls."

I wholehearted agree, what actions has she taken to show constituents that she has changed. I don’t see her being one of my choices, there are other stronger candidates.
