So the ex republican governor of Alaska runs for a house seat and loses to an Eskimo. The first Democrat to represent Alaska in 50 years.

There's still the regular election in November, but I think Alaskans are done with Sarah Palin. Sarah needs to go kneel before her Leader in Mar-a-Lago for more support

Palin was famous for bringing the issue of abortion into a minor mayoral election which had been non-partisan before that. Palin will continue to keep abortion as a huge issue in Alaska.

Eskimo is rather offensive, but point taken. The winner is an actual leader who didn't quit halfway through her many years of public service.

Another victim of the ranked choice voting scam (this was the first election Alaska held under said scam of a system)...

Hopefully republicans in Alaska will wise up to the scam come November, as 2/3's of Alaskans wanted a Republican representative, yet via the ranked choice scam, a Demonkkkrat comes out on top anyway... This scam is very similar to the "splitter strategy" that the RNC loves to use against their own voting base.

Elections, when they aren't frauded away, are rigged in favor of what the DNC/RNC establishments want. That's why Bernie Sanders will never win the nomination for President, and why Palin didn't end up winning this special election. It's a rigged system to thwart the will of the people. Now, 2/3's of Alaskans who didn't want a Demonkkkrat representative now have one for a few months...

You understand that even if only first votes were taken into account, Peltola would have gotten 40% of the vote, more than any other candidate. She would have won with first past the post, as well as with ranked voting.

If there had been only one Republican on the ballot, it would have been Palin. She has the majority of the Republican votes. It is clear that only 49% of the voters were willing to vote for her, so then Peltola wins with 51% of the votes.

The only way you can get a Republican winning is if you can nominate Begich as the Republican, but that is not possible with Palin in the race.

No, they aren't. They are simply now victims of a rigged election system ("ranked choice voting"). It is a system that favors Demonkkkrats and RINOs instead of who the people of Alaska actually want to represent them.

It is a system meant to keep people like Murkowski in office, even though both Democrats and Republicans in Alaska don't want her as their representative, even if that means allowing Demonkkkrats to win other races (such as this one) via the splitting of Republican votes.
