Vitter, 46, a Republican in his first Senate term, was elected to the Senate in 2004. He represented Louisiana's 1st Congressional District in the House from 1999 to 2004.

Vitter and his wife, Wendy, live in Metairie, La., with their four children.

What a hack. In my book of moral and ethical relativity, hiring prostitutes is worse than clinton's affair with a consenting adult.

But, its okay if a republican does it!

Well, it's certainly high-risk sexual behavior, and unless his wife is a complete idiot, she stopped having sex with him as soon as she found out about it.
