I'm just asking. I'd probably disagree. I think Trump generally DOES gravitate more toward favoring strongmen, and Putin in particular. And he's very thin-skinned, so when Zelensky sounded critical, he turned on him - like he always does. 10x the offense against him.
Which is ridiculous for a world leader. It's business - it's not personal.
But any way you look at it, there is no defense for the unreal, surreal lies that Trump is telling - the Ukraine starting the war, Zelensky being a dictator, et al. It's all very Trumpian. No facts, chaos, personal.
