They did starting shortly after Obama was elected. That continued to be the case right up to Trump's first win. It took hold again when Trump lost to Biden.

They started calling for Harris to be permanently President shortly after Obama was elected? Sounds sort of like a random thing to say about the then District Attorney of San Francisco.

I never heard anyone say that Obama should resign and be replaced with the then District Attorney of San Francisco, and that she should then remain President for life. And I do not believe anyone said that.
