it is natural for a company to do back round checks on people , I have had then run on me many times along with the FBI doing background checks on me , but that was for security clearances work that is sensitive that is why the fbi did those checks not only on the internet and by phone but they sent field agents out to interview people.
I have no issue with them, as for AOC shes not doing background checks she not the fbi or Santa , her desire is purely political nature, neither republican or democrats or any other group need to go to these kind of extremes , and it can not be allowed.

Now its very understandable that many democrats who are leaning toward socialist beliefs do not want to be compared to Nazis.
And I am not saying they are the same thing either .
But socialist party's are just a quick hope skip and a jump away from often becoming radical like Nazis and communist and dictatorships.

sorry but Socialism can be sort of a entry drug so to speak that leads to other things, I will not change my mind in that.
Its just a steeping stone over time to more and more radical forms of government , and a entry way into taking our freedoms and rights away a small amount at a time.

And the official name of North Korea is the "Democratic People's Republic of Korea." People can call themselves anything they want, but if you really want to know what they believe in, look at their actions.
Nazi Germany did not have collective ownership, so it wasn't Socialist. The Nazis just called themselves "National Socialists" because they were trying to appeal to both the Right and the Left.
