Are all right wingers stupid?

I'm sorry, but you have failed to support your assertion, therefore your assertion is to be dismissed.

As an aside, this type of shit thread wouldn't make it on any other site out there. Somehow you have topped jbander at contentless bullshit OP creation suck.

Oh, you poor invalid. Get some rest.

No, but the majority of them do seem to embrace some fairly insane things. "Trump really won," is just one of them.

They're following the Nazi authoritarian model to the "t". Tear down all institutions, tell the people "they", (whoever they decide "they" is) are responsible for all your ills because they <insert dirty lies about some race or people here>, and then tell the people YOU are going to get rid of those bad people and fix everything.

trump started it and the Republicans are faithfully carrying it on.

Trump never started anything. He uses (read steals) what already exists. Neither Trump nor the Republicans invented the Blame Game. Neither was the first to attack our national institutions or give voice to the loud, radical minority.

It's been a progression over the past 40 years as American politics recognized the downfall of the Soviet Union and began reorganizing for the "New World Order", a phrase quickly co-opted by antisemitic conspiracy theorists.

The most interesting part to me is that we are living through an America in transition from being the bulwark against Totalitarian Socialism for five decades to becoming the world's sole superpower....or so we thought. 9/11 and the rise of China gave Americans a cold dose of reality.

The entire "Make America Great Again" fantasy is the desire to return the US to being the world's superpower doing "things not because they are easy, but because they are hard" and as "a shining city on a hill". MAGA is a fantasy because it claims the ability to turn back the clock which is an impossible feat as all intelligent, sane people know.

IMO, any political party that plays the Blame Game and uses fearmongering is never to be trusted. The problem for America is that political parties use such tactics because, as JPP proves daily, there are plenty of dumbasses who fall for the bullshit.

It seems that the few remaining sane (R)s have retired or been voted out.

Agreed. Most were eliminated by their own party leaders in the 2018 Mid-terms. The last vestiges of them will be gone after this Congress.

I expect a lot of violence to follow. Mainly Lone Wolf attacks like in Buffalo or on political figures. Mostly RW attacks.

At some point, Americans will get fed up and demand change.

Gutless wonders. Especially so given the fact that the MAGATs aren't a majority of their base -- or are they?

What we need to reform is our primary system. Most Americans are lazy, so the only ones to show up at caucuses or primaries are right wing nuts on the Republican side and nuts like me on the other. So, we always end up with the most extreme candidate, in most cases. Also of course, money out of politics, but that's never gonna happen.

I'm still ok with being a left "nut" because at least people like me don't fear minorities and want to kill everyone I don't agree with.

I'm fine being me.

Ra-men, Brother Lurch, same here.

Meh. Maybe. It's been expected the Republicans would win all year long. The Roe v. Wade thing fucked up that projection a bit. IF SCOTUS comes out with killing AA before the election, that, too, would put a dent in Republican plans....which is why I doubt they'd do so. They might be RW activist justices, but they ain't stupid. LOL

The whole bullshit about Biden running again was stupid. Every sane voter knows he's a one-term President. At this rate, 2024 is going to be a free-for-all with DeSantis as both the probable Republican nominee and election winner.

A better move for the Democrats is for Biden to resign after 20JAN23 ("medical reasons" is a good excuse) and have a damn good VP backing up Harris. She's not an ideal candidate, but would have the power of being an incumbent. Otherwise, I doubt the Democrats can put together a winning combo in a free-for-all election.
