MAGATs don't seem to understand that education is more than just spitting back stuff memorized for a standardized test. They do everything they can to render teachers impotent, then cry when kids graduate h.s. with less of an education than their peers in other countries.

Same here. So was Mr. Ramaswamy. He went to Harvard even. I appreciate his sentiments about improving our educational system. But I don't think that our culture is something he and his family quite appreciate or understand.

Sounds about right. My daughters did on occasion; it was a social thing. They're in their late 30s now. My oldest daughter not only hung out at the Mall, her first job was in the food court at Sbarro's. She was 46 when she passed this past June.
