I've even heard a few conservatives talk about how there should be an effort to put more limitations on the pardon power now.

You mean the Jake Lang that was indicted by a grand jury on January 8, 2021?

You do realize that a grand jury indictment means he was charged with a crime, don't you? He was in fact charged with 9 crimes in the indictment.

Matt Dillon proves he doesn't know what an indictment is since the claim was made that someone has been held for years without being charged with a crime.

There were some held for over a year without being charged. I'm not gonna get into it, because that's all over for now.
It'll probably come up again when they all sue n stuff. :D

Trump ran a campaign for President of the United States. During that campaign he was quite clear that he intended to pardon the J 6 hostages on day one. No voter was unaware of this. Or at least they shouldn't have been. Then America spoke and then Trump followed through.

There's many that fit that bill, because it says only 1,265 were charged, and Trump pardoned over 1500.
