Jeremy Bentham is possibly a great symbol for the state of the US constitution i.e. mummified!!

Looks like only a couple fell for the fearmongering scare tactics employed by the gun lobby, judging by the votes so far.

Am I a dog that jumps through hoops for folks? ;). You could read the list as well as I and just know that i disagree with all of his stances on it. Just this one time I will point out the most glaring things from the list though.

1. I am a mid-westerner, I own guns and I am very religious but I am not bitter. Thank you Mr. Obama for saying that I am.

2. He allowed that states and cities have the right to impose bans on weapons. Mu stance....not when they violate the 2nd amendment.

3. He endorse the Illinois handgun ban....se #2 above.

4. He wanted to pass the legislation to limit the purchasing of guns to one per month....what a dweeb.

5. What's with these "unscrupulous gun dealers?" Where are they? Who are they? I freely admit that there are some gun dealers who just want to make a buck but when looking for illegal guns he might need to look a little closer to home...maybe in his administration. Fast and Furious ???? Maybe?

6. He criticized Bush for letting the so called "assault weapons ban expire."

7. Banning weapons just because of their looks wasn't enough (see #6 above), he wanted to ban semi-automatic weapons. That's nearly half of the guns I own.

8. Finally, he wouldn't support the prohibition of lawsuits against gun manufacturers.

I didn't mention the home defense using an illegally purchased gun but if I bought a gun from my buddy and used it in defense of my home I don't think there should be any charges.

This was just one look at one web site...I am sure I could find more but this is plenty for me.
