I like Bart Ehrman, who is a New Testament scholar. What are the limitations on the rights of others you seek to limit, aside from the obvious of not hurting each other?
Podcasts. Got it. Yes, I've listened to several history podcasts. Which ones do you listen to in order to educate yourself on religion?
Not being very interested in religion per se, but, as discussed a year or so ago, I do enjoy history. The history of the Roman Empire and Europe is inextricably linked with religion, specifically Christianity. That's as close as I get to Abrahamic religions. I have listened to some podcasts and audiobooks on Zen the philosophy, not the religion.I like Bart Ehrman, who is a New Testament scholar.
....anymore?no I don't.

I am a history geek too. The best history instructors don't just give a litany of names and dates, but can weave together a very human story of ideas, values, events, places. Not being very interested in religion per se, but, as discussed a year or so ago, I do enjoy history. Agreed on the best history instructors. They explain why the tapestry of history continues to be important today by weaving all of those facts together that is memorable.I am a history geek too. Agreed. The best Russian history course I ever took was basically an intellectual and cultural history of Russia: the ideas, cultural values, political philosophies, economic developments, artistic movements of Russia, how they evolved, and how they all worked together to illuminate key characteristics of the overall Russian experience.Agreed on the best history instructors. memorable, but not necessarily accurate.Agreed on the best history instructors. They explain why the tapestry of history continues to be important today by weaving all of those facts together that is memorable.
Your degree must have required a lot of coursework in history?
The only one who appears to be coming here mostly to "piss all over everything"...is you, Ob.So why do you come on here to piss all over everything?

Do you truly not realize what a troll you are being?
