Awesome interview by Harris!

Sure, he was pro-choice, then he was for a nationwide ban, now he is states rights.

He was against socialism and government regulated healthcare, now he wants the government to pay for IVF.

Trump was going to build a wall from sea to shining sea... now its not necessary.

Trump was going to make Mexico, now there is no way to force Mexico to pay.

Trump is all over the place.
I saw Trump in a town hall moderated by Hannity and Trump said he wouldn't build the wall in the mountains and desert where it was inaccessible to large scale illegal immigration. That was before the 2016 election. Trump has renegotiated the Mexico trade deal and the US has a more favorable deal so Mexico is paying for it but it just isn't labeled that way.

Can you expand on that last part, or maybe provide a link? I don't think I've seen anything regarding funds from that being directed to the wall, at all.

Walz hardly spoke.

You sure are posting a lot about this one. I have a hunch that you know it went well for Harris, and she effectively ended the "she's not giving interviews!" talking point for the right. Which was never a good talking point anyway.
I must be missing the glowing reviews/reports..;) (She still hasn't given an actual interview... She just taped a little campaign ad...)

He said from the beginning., leave it up to the states.

That is bullshit

The wall is necessary. Ask the border control agents.

Paying in the sense of keeping illegals from contacting our border.

Trump wants to get the country out of the hands of idiots. He's for America.
if the wall is that important why did the Republicans refuse to talk to the Dems on the dreamer issue when they offered to put 28 Billion in the budget if they did?
the Dems only wanted to get a solution to a problem we still have.
I guess they thought it would make the Dems look good because they actually wanted to get something done about that problem.
just how many more MILES of wall would we have already built with that 28 Billion dollars?
have a nice day

I'd agree - you seem to have missed the glowing reports.

And sorry - but that's an interview.

Do you guys have anything? It all seems like a lot of flail right now.

why NOT sit down and talk about it DIPSHIT?
they could have worked out the bill and the Repuks would have got money for the wall
Have a nice day DIPSHIT

Was Kamala Harris’s big interview a success? Sort of

She did not endorse an arms embargo to Israel, whose genocidal war in Gaza has killed upwards of 40,000 Palestinians with the aid of American weapons.

Her unwillingness to speak with more empathy and commitment about this issue threatens to alienate young voters, a disorganized but growing left, and the large cohorts of Muslim and Arab voters she needs to win over in places like Minnesota and Michigan.

That unwillingness also threatens to give more credence to other leftwing suspicions of Harris, such as the marginal but noticeable suspicion among activists over whether she will maintain Biden’s enthusiasm for antitrust enforcement.

they did talk about it - the GOP suggested a bill that removed all the extraneous nonsense

you are propping up liars - either because you are a liar or an idiot - or both?

well at least from what she said she looked into it got more or better info on it and changed her mind and figured out they still can get to their goals with out a fracking ban.
and with her getting more info and maybe some real facts it looks like she is a lot smarter then most of the right wingers on here , heck you can post fact after fact and millions of links to back them up and the MAGA on here still won't change their minds
Have a nice day
Fracking has come a long way since '19. Initially, it was an extremely inefficient means for extracting oil. In fact, they had to make Swiss cheese from the entire Bakken region. Couple that with the need for millions of gallons of water per well, and no way to get rid of the toxic water once it's extracted.

Balancing affordable fuel with protecting the environment is a challenge. trump doesn't understand the former, and doesn't concern himself with the latter.

Really??
got anything to back up your accusation?
from what I remember they didn't want to talk about anything.
and walked away from 28 Billion for the wall because McConnell said so.
have a nice day ASSHOLE

1000% correct. And she realized Pa is a must have state so she is willing to lie about her feelings and flip flop again later after the election.
Rural Pa. will not get her 5% of the vote. I did a few jobs in the region, and aside from broken down cars on the front lawns, there are huge trump banners.

I don't think many people in Philly/Pittsburgh give a shit about fracking jobs.

It was a good interview, but not without problems. The fracking question should have been answered better such as "My values remain the same, but my views have grown."

Since less than 2% of Americans serve in the military and since I'm not a politician, I fail to understand why Walz is dancing around the "I carried weapons of war in war". I carried weapons of war in the Gulf War even though I was never in combat. He deployed to Europe for the WoT and, no doubt, carried weapons of war when the nation was at war. Why can't someone explain that to the public?
Exactly. I think he looked worse avoiding the direct question, but anyone who believes this is an issue isn't going to vote Dem. anyway. Ever.

I already answered this question.

She was knowledgeable, she was specific, she was confident. She explained her positions well and when confronted with a change on position she explained it in detail.

Trump would have yelled at the questioner, claimed it was a "horrible question" and avoided answering it by producing word salad around the issue.

Is she Obama? NO. Compared to Trump she is Socrates.
She didn't get asked a single tough question. There was no attempt to follow up on any of her answers. Harris showed no depth of knowledge on anything asked. It was all fluff and friendly. It might as well have been an 18 minute campaign ad.

Two duties of the vice-president.

1) Breaking a tie in the Senate. (She did that with the deficit reduction bill, that is working)

So good that inflation is up 20%+ total since Biden took office. The price of nearly everything is higher, and not by a little bit. That Biden has reduced spending from drunken sailor level to teenager with daddy's credit cards, means nothing. Biden and Harris drove the us economy into a ditch.
2) Taking the position of President if the President dies.

aka "Chair warmer."
That is all, George Bush lived in Texas when he was VP, barely ever went to D.C., yet he filled the position 100%

Tu quoque fallacy.
