In my world, the hairdresser that rents the salon uses the salon's credit card system to run cards. It costs less than Square.
Compliance is not the same thing as raising taxes. If someone is forced into compliance who wasn't before that is not raising their taxes. It is having them follow current law.

It won't affect the poor at all. What do you consider poor since you are claiming it would affect them.This only affects people cheating on their taxes. It seems you want to defend criminals.

Giving government less money just means they spend more money and go even more into debt. The biggest drivers of our current debt have been tax cuts that have decreased revenues.

The first legislation the current GOP House passed would have increased the debt and yet they claim they are the party of fiscal responsibility.

I always give a waitress a cash tip and hope she does not claim it on her taxes. I want her to cheat the system.

The only way to balance a budget is to match spending to revenues. Since the Republicans refuse to tell us what spending they will cut the only way to balance the budget is by increasing revenues.

This is where talking points are proven to be just that- talking points. Your theory and talking point is based upon misconceptions and is actually a deception in itself.

Here is a clear example of how, if you invest in better ways to manage or control a system, it will reap huge benefits and rewards.

The IRS is overwhelmed with fraud- So much fraud- it prevents us from being able to bring down the deficit, and just be able to repay the debts of our nation.

This overwhelming of the IRS, keeps honest tax payers like you and I, and millions of others, to carry the burden of taxes solely on our shoulders.

By hiring more IRS auditors and agents, and putting more checks and balances in the system like the 1099k, it will help to keep more people honest!

If you give governments more money or less money, they will still likely spend more because of economic growth and inflation.

Which party wants to put cameras in the bedroom and in the doctor's office by inserting government into those private spaces?
It seems you think requiring people to follow the law is a burden.
