Yes, they were. Always. I don't believe Biden is repealing those particular cuts anyway. The only tax cuts that were permanent were the corporate tax cuts. You know, the ones that corporations used to buy back their stock.

It's a bullshit term.

If you live off your business profits and investment income, you're a capitalist.
That's a condition of circumstance, not ideology.

If you live off being employed, you're a proletarian, no matter how substantial your remuneration.

And if you've no resources to sustain yourself, you're poor. No judgement here. Just another condition of circumstance.

Middle class means nothing at all.

I don't care if my taxes go up to pay for infrastructure or health care because those are two things that have intrinsic value.

So investing trillions of dollars into the country is perfectly OK by me because we'll get cool things (like a new grid, broadband everywhere, etc.) for the money we spend.

We get nothing for tax cuts. We have nothing to show for them.
