Biden quietly admits Keystone XL cost thousands of jobs, billions of dollars

No asshole you were not right and only fucking morons would consider Canada's use of our heartland to dump oil on for basically nothing as a good idea. 22 spils so far and they will never stop. Who pays for that clean-up and how many jobs will this pipeline provide once it's finished? Fucking none but the spills will never stop. Classic fucking stupidity from the right once again.

You're so full of shit. :palm:

The Congressional report says 59,000. That's a decent-sized town.

Biden declared war on the carbon based energy sector and it resulted in gas prices at 8 dollars a gallon in places.

Americans suffered for months with the resultant out of control inflation caused by the high price of gasoline used to drive to work and to transport goods to the American consumer.

Biden harmed hard working Americans.

Had he given that argument, though it has been made countless times before, he might not have been treated like a complete dummy.

Sure. The "loonys" who have left you looking the dope you are. A faulty thread argument is the only bait ever needed.

It worked didn't it? It's like virtual flypaper for idiots. I notice how you totally ignored the fact that the oil just goes by Buffett's trains instead. Of course I can see why, because it just blows your environmental argument to smithereens.

Indeed, even the Washington Post admitted it is far safer to transport oil by pipelines.

"... This is crazy. Oil pipelines are far safer and many times more efficient than shipping oil by rail. Even less-safe modes — truck or barge*..."

"Biden quietly admits Keystone XL cost thousands of jobs, billions of dollars."

He intentionally harmed millions of Americans.

Poor Earl weighs in with another of his reliably dumb, easily refuted opinions:

Marty is no Smarty, true story. He refuses pointblank to address the rail issue, understandably as it's hugely embarassing.

AP, Marty?

Did you read the thread title, Marty?

"Biden quietly admits Keystone XL cost thousands of jobs, billions of dollars."

Poor Marty.

I not only admitted it, dumb Earl, I made the point that the cost of thousands of jobs was an obvious fact at the time the decision was made, or do you think it came as a surprise to the administration that work would have been necessary in order to build a pipeline. The administration concluded the environmental cost more than offset the loss of jobs and other financial benefits. Is there a reason you declined to include in your quote its essential point, namely that your own argument that rejection of the pipeline was a cause of the later high gas prices is demonstrably false?

When you address this, Marty, I will address your question:

“The administration concluded the environmental cost more than offset the loss of jobs and other financial benefits.”

THE KEYSTONE XL PIPELINE AND SMALL BUSINESS JOB ...https://www.govinfo.gov › content › pkg › html
Both issues are vitally important to our economic future. The Keystone pipeline can help us reach those goals. It is good for job creation, good for energy ..

The environmental issue was bogus.

The safest way to transport oil is by pipeline.

Total bullshit. Not even the oil companies made such outrageous claims. 59,000 jobs. What BS. Can you imagine that a pipeline requires 59,000 employees? Especially since it was designed to pipe oil through the US and into Texas refineries where it was to be made into diesel and airplane fuel for Asia. All we were going to get is the spills. And we are getting them

Pipelines don’t drill.:palm:

You oughta cut down;

Yeh bullshit, Biden concluded that cancelling XL would help him in pandering to the Regressive Left. As for environmental considerations, how the hell does sending that oil by Warren Buffett's trains make for a cleaner safer option, fool?
Yeah they pollute more by sending oil by diesel powered trains and trucks than by using a pipeline.

59,000 employees to build, supply and service the pipeline is an accurate figure. And a significant amount of the oil would have been refined in Texas by Americans to be used in the United States by Americans.
