Use said Pipeline. He heard "pipe" and immediately thought about getting "drilled".Wants to demonstrate how pipes are used for drilling?![]()

When you address this, Marty, I will address your question:
“The administration concluded the environmental cost more than offset the loss of jobs and other financial benefits.”
The safest way to transport oil - The Washington Post
https://www.washingtonpost.com › 2015/02/20
"... This is crazy. Oil pipelines are far safer and many times more efficient than shipping oil by rail. Even less-safe modes — truck or barge*..."
Biden hurt hard working Americans.
The keystone pipeline is nothing but a disaster. It is for the transport of Canadian oil to our refineries and does nothing for U.S. oil production. Fuck your jobs, it's going to cost 10 times more cleaning up the constant oil spills in our heartland! one of the largest environmental disasters one could possibly imagine, no wonder the fucking ignorant right wing thinks it was a good idea. I bet that farmer in Kansas was an ignorant right winger that was for it, serves the fucking dumbshit right.
Not to mention we are now pumping more oil than at ANY time in this countries history and NONE of what goes through that pipeline is included or ours, it all belongs to Canada.
^ Apparently thinks pipelines are used for drilling.
So you think that welders being laid off pipeline construction and having to sell their welding trucks doesn't hurt them. Man are you out of touch.Every asshole has an opinion- EVEN MYSELF- [Geeko Sportivo]
And, I totally disagree with you or anyone else that tries to make this erroneous BUTTHURTED POLITICALLY JADED claim!
Geeko do you realize that the vast majority of people building the pipeline were contractors and did not work for TCE. The people that dug the ditching hauled the pipes built the pipes hauled the valves installed the control systems welded the pipes etc etc etc didn't work for TCE.Yep, environmentally Disasterous! The Keystone already has 14 disasters they are still cleaning up and being sued out their ass for.
TC Energy Corp., the Canadian company that owns the Keystone XL pipeline with the Alberta government, has said more than 1,000 people are out of work because of Biden’s executive order. The company also admitted that those jobs were Temporary jobs, mostly involved in the construction of the pipeline. But somehow these Job Losses tuned into exaggerations of over 88,000 jobs lost, on Facebook by the same old typical and anticipated Obama-Hating, Biden-Hating, Democrat-hating disgruntled Republican Facebook users who were Butthurt over losing the election.
The Keystone XL pipeline is an international project years in the making. Without support from the U.S. government, it’s effectively halted.
The 875-mile pipeline would carry a heavy crude oil mixture from Western Canada to Steele City, Neb., where it would connect with another leg stretching to Gulf Coast refineries.
Biden’s order revoked the permit that was granted March 29, 2019, by then-President Donald Trump on the grounds that it is harmful to the environment.
The Obama-era State Department had denied TC Energy’s request for a permit in 2015. Anti-Obama Birther Trump revived hopes for the project once he took office, ultimately approving it with an executive order. Construction began in April 2020, but that same month, a federal court said that the project had to go through a full endangered species review. TC Energy appealed the ruling, but a mostly nominated Republican Supreme Court upheld it.

Since 2008, nearly 3 million gallons of oil have been spilled from freight trains alone. Though many of the incidents that resulted in those spills were relatively minor, some were extremely costly – the most notable of which was the Lac-Megantic derailment in Quebec last year that killed 47 people and decimated an entire town......
...According to a study done by the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, which looked at industry statistics from 2005 to 2009, oil shipment by road was the most dangerous transport method with an incident rate of 19.95 (measured in number of incidents per billion ton-miles). Second to that was railway with an incident rate of 2.08. The safest mode of transport was hazardous liquid pipeline, which had an incident rate of just 0.58.,,,,,

Sometimes go to the Ritchie Brother auction in Canada online and see how much welding equipment they are auctioning off.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keystone_PipelineXL standing for "export limited"[18]) Pipeline, would have connected the Phase I-pipeline terminals in Hardisty, Alberta, and Steele City, Nebraska, by a shorter route and a larger-diameter pipe.[19] It would have run through Baker, Montana, where American-produced light crude oil from the Williston Basin (Bakken formation) of Montana and North Dakota would have been added
So that is the reason so many of them were selling their rigs.I spent a small fortune attending the American Institute of Banking! But I only worked at Federal Reserve Bank for 10 years and moved on.
We all have crossroads! Besides that if I had a welding rig on a truck, man I would build metal rail ranch fences or those things you drive through and under out in ever ranch in Texas and Colorado etc. What do you call those things Entry gates or whatever? Not only that but cattle guards. A man with a welder rig on a flatbed truck can make a living doing any kind of welding.

The Keystone pipeline system transports about 600,000 barrels of oil per day along its 2,687-mile stretch, beginning in Alberta, Canada, and moving south to Cushing, Oklahoma.
Since 2010 there has been about 12,000 barrels of oil leaked from the pipeline. that is about 12,000 in over 2.62 billion barrels of oil shipped. That is BY FAR safer than shipping it by train or truck.
The fact remains that pipeline is the SAFEST way to transport oil and it is being shipped by trains now.Yes, why wouldn't I realize that?
But, with tar sand oil, if it gets into water like aquifers, streams, creeks, or lakes, it drops to the bottom and sticks to the bottom, making them almost impossible to clean.
Where as crude will float and is easier to coral and clean.
I worked in IT at Central & Southwest Services and knew all the geologists and petroleum engineers and plotted there GEO maps etc. for years. I learned a lot about the pipeline and the oil industry back in those days. I also have family members working in the oil fields. I also worked for Mobil Oil in IT. So I didn't exactly fall off of a carrot truck!

This joke is horrible, I had to groan it.Come on... you know that Brandon thinks he remembers laughing at Keystone Kops comedies sometimes and thinks pipelines are made of pipe cleaners!
